Deep freeze?

I end up pumping about 10 extra oz. per day when I'm at work. I've been freezing this but haven't really had to dip into the freezer stash too much yet so the freezer is FULL of milk.

We went to Home Depot tonight and got a stand alone freezer so we can have our regular one back for our food. This is considered a deep freeze, correct? I just want to make sure!

Yes, a chest freezer is a deep freezer!

it is a "deep freeze" only if it is not a "frost free freezer." Regular freezers lower their temperature regularly to melt the frost on the walls of it thus making them "frost free" but also partially defrosting contents including bm. A deep freeze is better for bm because it doesnt do this. Some stand alone chest freezers are frost free now making them just like a regular freezer so just to be safe make sure its actually a deep freeze by making sure its not frost free.
