Let us guide you along week-by-week!)
My gosh this board has slowed down a ton lately!! Everyone must be working their butts off!! Let's get it going again!!!
What were the strangest foods you ate during pregnancy (if any)?
I didn't really eat anything strange. I would just eat the same things every day for long periods of time. Like I had Arby's every day for like 2 weeks and the same thing with Taco Mayo.
I threw up so much that I would start choosing things that I knew wouldn't taste so bad coming back up. I know, how gross is that? But no lie, I ate a lot of Ramen Noodles b/c it tasted pretty much the same coming back up as it did going down. I tried to avoid ice cream, b/c dairy tasted the worst to throw up.
wasabi peas. I was addicted!
I've jumped ship. This board has been a ghost town. September 2010 Mommies are pretty cool (better than the evil tri-boards).
Not really strage, however, I could eat an entire package of Oreos in two days. As a side note, I was an EXTREMELY healthy eater prior to my pregnancy. Luckily, I stayed fairly active during my pregnancy by running (for most of it) and yoga.
If I passed a Taco Bell I HAD to stop. There was no way around it. My car would take on a mind of it's own and turn into the drive through! I swear the people at the one near my house were going to know me by name! LOL! And I've only have Taco Bell 1 time since being pregnant and thought I was going to yak! I also loved Orange Juice (haven't had since pregnant). I don't think I ate anything that was really strange per se. There was a time when I smelled something that was sweet and it reminded me of a food. It took me 3 days to figure out that it was skittles and then I HAD to have the skittles. But only the kind that I had smelled 3 days prior. So DH had to go out and buy 3 different bags of skittles so that I could test them out and see which one it was (it was the orange bag btw). It was hysterical.
nothing crazy -- just wanted everything spicy
Burned English muffins with butter and a whole lb of baby carrots for breakfast, a whole jar of jalapeno nacho slices at lunch, #10 at Mc D's for lunch (southern style chicken sandwich) and frozen orange juice and coconut mango icecream for dessert after dinner (a whole quart every night even if I didn't eat any dinner) All in all I wouldn't trade all of the weird food combinations I put up with for anything in the world because in the end I now have the most precious gift ever and I get to now put up with all of her weird food combinations, Her newest one is bananas, prunes and macaroni. Not sure why but she loves those foods together but as long as she is eating these days I will put up with them.
