Do you find that your temps correlate with your positive OPK? I just heard from a friend that her OPK is positive days AFTER her chart tells her she ovulated. This makes me wonder if the OPK's are as accurate as they claim. I know you can't REALLY know if you O'd without temping (which I don't do) but I am just wondering from your experience if you think the OPK's are accurate. Thanks!
Me: 40 Dh: 41, TTC since August 2009, began Acupuncture and Herbs Sept 2011, began Temping and Charting Nov 2011.
My OPK's have always been positive the day before I O and my temp always corresponds to it.

I'd say that maybe your timing is off. Your LH surge is only going to come 24-48 hours before you ovulate. So, using them every day is just a waste of time. I usually start testing on CD9 and test around 11am (a good testing time is between 10am - 6pm due to the signals triggered in the mornings to release the hormone). I usually get my first OPK+ around CD12 and then a 2nd one on the next day and my temps indicate ovulation usually 2 days after the first OPK+.
I use the CBE OPK's and always get a + (just for one day) around CD12. I start testing around CD9. I am relieved to know that others have the same results..
