Crafty ladies, a question

Does anyone have a serger?  Can you recommend one? 

 My mom wants to buy one and has me doing the research for her (not sure why because I'm lucky that I can sew a straight line! lol!).  She's an amazing seamstress and has always wanted one.  I'm trying to talk her into making diapers

It consistently gets the best reviews for the less expensive sergers.  Mine works like a dream.  No problems whatsoever, easy to learn.

i have the brother that walmart carries.  i think it's around $200.  that thing is easy to thread!

I have a Janome 1200D and I got it from a local sewing shop. It is a 3 in one machine. Overlock, coverhem, and top coverhem. I guess it will vary from shop to shop but the plus about getting it from a shop vs Joann's or walmart is they teach you how to use it and you get deals on maintenance and products.
