So it has been a REALLY long time since I have posted. Why I am posting is I am wanting to start a custody battle with my ex over our 1 year old. I just don't know where to start. Not really wanting to post all the juicy details on the wall so if anyone has been through a custody battle or is a lawyer and want to maybe help me out a bit send me a PM please. THANK YOU!

The Hennepin county bar association can give you MSP area lawyers by specialty - if I were you I would start by calling them and asking for a list of family law lawyers.  I see you are in Austin, I'm not sure what county that is but check with your county bar association as well as legal aid.  Most MSP lawyers will represent people out of the cities too so that's why I'd recommend starting there - because you'll have more choices.  Good luck!
