Question about unisex nursery

If you are not finding out the sex of your baby, what color(s) are you decorating the nursery? Catherine's room is light, pale green (so I don't want to use that color again). I am not a big fan of yellow. Would pale, light purple be okay...out is that more for a girl? What about peach/orange?  any ideas would be welcome! Thanks!

I love the idea of an all white nursery.

I think blue would be a good unisex color.  I just think purple is too girly.  But I like the suggestions from the pp!

Ours is apple green and chocolate brown. At one point I was also considering apple green, aqua/turqoise, and tangerine, but then, the apple green may be too close to your pale green.

At one point I was considering a black and white room with really bright pops of color (like a tangerine). I think a pale grey with a bright accent color (or colors) would be cool too.

My vote is peach! I'm trying to coordinate unisex too, b/c we're going to be surprised, and I like the idea of shades of orange. The room already has bright white built-in bookshelves and a window seat, so I've narrowed it down to light orangey-peach walls, a white dresser, and a blonde wood crib (it's a hand-me-down, and I don't want to paint it). I want to coordinate it with a more tomato-ey orange and lime green and white for the curtains and bedding. I didn't want to go yellow, either, b/c with not finding out, I'm already getting a TON of baby yellow ducky things.

For our son, we did white wainscotting and pale yellow walls. I bought a boy and girl bedding set, and then returned the girl bedding when he was born and we knew he was a he! That way the entire room wasn't unisex. GL!

I just painted my office, which will be the nursery a pale purple grey color that's more blue based than red.  In most lights it looks light blue more than purple.  I'm doing vertical sheen stripes on it.  I think it will be fine.  Plus, I like it.  :)  I don't know about furniture yet, as it's a bit early, but I figured the room would eventually get enough personality after the baby with gender color and knick-knacks given that it should be fine.
