Taking Robitussin to improve CM?

What is this that I'm reading about taking plain Robitussin to increase/improve CM.  TCOYF mentioned this. 

Has anyone tried this?

I have heard this on several times, and I think that is what helped me. I was sick when we were ovulating, and I was taking cough medicine to help out. A couple weeks later I got my BFP.

i haven't tried it, but i'm curious! when do you start taking it, how much at a time and how often TIA!

This is actually how we ended up getting pg! I didn't realize that it was the case (we were using FAM), and had a cold at the time and was taking Mucinex (same main ingredient as Robitussin). Apparently it works, as I didn't O until four days later and we still got pg!

i took mucinex to help.  and I got pg that month!!  it really helped me!

Update...

 

I bought a generic form of the Mucinex and it definately helped.  I'm 7DPO now, so it's too early to tell if it helped that much, but it really improved my CM and I got EWCM this cycle for the first time since getting off the pill.
