This was our girl name choice when we were pregnant with DS. We are still hoping to use it someday, but I am hearing it more and more. At the time, and still to this day, I have only known one person with this name, but I see that it is well received on this board. Is Lorelei destined to become the new Emily, Isabella, Addison....?

I only hear the name Lorelei on this board. I think it's a very pretty name. I have never known anyone named Lorelei and don't know anyone with the name on their baby list.
I think the name Lorelei is popular here on this board, but is still a looong way from becoming Isabella or Emily. I dont know any Lorelei's in real life.
I only know one Lorelei in the real life, and she's my age (32).

I think a lot of names just get tossed around here a lot, but they aren't that popular IRL. Lorelei would be one of them.
This. I also think nameberry is also guilty of this too. I know one Lorelei IRL and she'll be 3 in February. I like it and think it's a pretty name that ages well.
