Anyone dealing with gestational diabetes issues?
How does your Doc deal with it? How are you dealing with it?
During my first preg my Doc tested me at least 3 times. she was sure I was going to develop it as I am overweight. Well, I didn't have it with that pg. So now she tested me at my first appt this time and I failed the 1 hr and had to take the 3. Well, those numbers weren't so good either. So now I have been refered to some clinic at Garden View as they apparently deal with the gestational diabetes issue rather than her. I am actually switching to an OB next week, but she is in the same group and my Doc thinks she will deal with this the same way. So I am assuming this will mean double the appointments and time off work! Needless to say I am not thrilled at the whole circumstance.
