Feeling Faint in the shower

Has anyone had problems feeling like they may pass out in the shower.  I am 11 w2d and every time I take a shower I feel like afterwards I need to sit down to keep from passing out or throwing up.  I have even gone to taking almost cold showers to see if it is the heat causing it. Just trying to find out if this is normal.

Yup. Every single morning in the shower. One time I even had to yell  for DH because I really thought I was going to pass out.

I've found it helpful to take cooler shower (still warm, just not hot) and crack a window and get some fresh air in. It seems to be the steam that bugs me...

Yes.  I get it too.  The longer my shower lasts (washing hair and shaving instead of just a quick shower) the more likely I am to have problems.  I had it with DD too and ended up using a shower chair so I could sit while washing my hair and not have to bend over to shave (I have inner ear problems too so if I lean my head over for too long I get dizzy.)

YES! I dread having to shower because I know it will make me feel like crap. The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with my son, but then I could lay around all day and not have to get ready. I have reduced my showers to once every other day because I just can't stand feeling like that.

I felt this way around 6 weeks, it really scared me. I had to hurry up and rinse my hair, get out, and sit on the floor for a few minutes. I was seeing black dots, it was a terrible feeling. I only had one other time when I felt slightly dizzy but I turned the water temp down and opened the window more and then I was ok.

I throw up after every single shower.  It's a struggle to get my wet hair twisted up into a towel before I start puking.  I'm always afraid I'll get vomit in my freshly washed hair. One time I even threw up IN the shower.  I was like that last pregnancy, too.  I tried everything to make it better, but it was all in vain.  Luckily, it ended when the m/s ended.

I had that with my last pregnancy but not yet with this one.  However, I do find that I am becoming winded easily.  Like when I go up the stairs I have to rest cause I can't catch my breath.  Mind you I am still going to the gym and I don't feel bothered by that.  These hormones are crazy!

I get winded here and there.  I find it happens mostly when I am putting on my makeup (while standing) or taking a shower.  If I remember correctly, it gets worse.  I don't know how I am going to lug my daughter around!

This happens to me almost every shower I take. Nothing helps me. I've tried opening the window, turning the temperature down and even sitting down. I just have to wait until it passes. I sometimes have DH bring me a glass of water or juice but even that just makes me want to lose it. Its so frustrating because I can't not take a shower before I go to work.

Yep, every day. It was the same when I was pregnant with DS too, the whole pregnancy. I normally have to lay down for a second. I'm hoping it doesn't get as bad as with DS, since now I have him to worry about, so I don't have time to pass out lol. Hope yours gets better!

They don't really make me dizzy, but I get super nauseous when I shower :( Totally sucks! Even taking colder showers doesn't help. All I can do is shower as quickly as possible.

I get a little dizzy in the shower sometimes.  Yesterday I was really hungry and I bent down to do something and stood up quick and seriously thought I was going to pass out. My eyes just saw black.  I think for me it's a blood sugar issue and in the morning when I shower I haven't eaten anything yet.
