Military Families

Any OIF/OEF veteran moms?

My husband and I are covered through the VA's OIF/OEF insurance program but our baby will only be covered for the first 7 days of life. Does anyone know of a good supplemental program for this situation? I just need something to cover between the 7th day and about 5 weeks later when my application is processed for CHIP... I was told you can't apply until "the child is on this earth."
