So i had my first weekly appointment yesterday which included group b testing. my dr. wasn't going to check for any action this week, he said he's wait till next. I asked him to because of all the symptoms i was having. Come to find out, I am 1 cm dilated and 25% effaced! Probably surprised him!
So after my appointment my DH and I went to visit my grandma who was not doing well at all. we were there from 4:30 yesterday afternoon till after midnight. we had to call hospice in because her breathing was weird. hospice said that she wouldn't make it through the night. so we stayed as long as we could with 4 of my aunts, my mom, 2 of my brothers, great aunt, and 2nd cousin. we had to leave cause if she didn't pass then we both had to go to work today and we had to get the dogs let out.
I got a call from my mom at around 1:30 this am and she told my my grandmother had passed away. Now the craziness starts with getting everyone else in town, including my dad (it was his mom that passed). He is in afghanistan doing contract work, we're thinking that the earliest that he will be able to be back is Saturday sometime.
So as I stated with death comes new life, I'm wondering if i can't convenience my dr. to induce me while my dad is in town. he's not going to be back for more than a few days and he won't get to be home till christmas, it's just killing him that he wouldn't get to be there for his only daughter's 1st child. and now with me being only 3 weeks out it's soo close that it would be almost harder on him.
I didn't sleep last night with everything going on and 1 million things running through my head. any advise is welcome!!
