I'm trying to figure out names for our LO to call the grandparents. We've asked them what they want to be called, and they keep saying "oh whatever the baby decides." Well - babies don't really decide - they usually pick up on what the parents teach them to say. Otherwise, the babies would call their grandparents "Mom" and "Dad"!
The family breakdown is this: my Mom and Dad, my husbands Mom, and my husbands Dad and his Wife "P". (BTW, DH doesn't call or refer to his Dad's wife as his step-mom, just "P".)
I'd like to avoid having 2 Grandmas and 2 Grandpas. Our parents aren't the type to have kids use their first names, so Grandma Sue and Grandma Sharon won't work. Looking for different options for Grandma and Grandpa so they can be distinct. Oh - and I have no idea how to handle "P"....
