I'm BF'ing DD & I don't plan on stoping but at 4 weeks I feel we have established a great BF'ing routine. DH & I are house hunting & its become quite a pain to BF while walking through houses. I also decided a while ago that I would like DH to feed DD once and a while. So I am going to start pumping at least 1 bottle a day for DH & to make outings easier with DD.
I have a LOT of breast milk. DD eats for up to 20 minutes per feeding & I can still pump up to 6 oz between feedings.
I am not sure how much to give her per bottle. I'd rather have to much and have her not eat it all then not give her enough. Is there any chart online to help give me a better idea of how much she should eat at 4 weeks (one month on Sunday)? Or is it still 2 oz at this age? I swear she eats more then that, but maybe I'm wrong.
I was thinking about making 4 oz bottles & seeing how that works. We are doing daddies first feeding tonight so I guess we will see how it works.
