Do you rock them to sleep or put them in crib awake?
We usually rock him to sleep but that sometimes takes an hour or more. So now after his bedtime bottle we rock him 30 min. then put him down drowsy and his seahorse does the rest!
ETA: With his paci and not swaddled (he hates being swaddled)
We have been doing bath, lotion, swaddle, bottle, bed but if she is really fussy we do bath early and she wakes up for her bottle later on. I don't know how well its working yet she is still to young to really get into a routine.
Edit: We give her a pacifier if she is being fussy and acting like she wants it after her bottle. If you don't have to give it to her for her to fall asleep I wouldn't we end up spending so much time putting it back into her mouth when she has it.
