Adrienne4.11:yes LO does that. 2 other things that he does are push on my breasts with his hands which ends up pushing the nipple out of his mouth, or sometimes he gets startled by a noise and pulls his head back a few inches without letting go of my nipple which really hurts.
Mine does this (without the pulling part). I've theorized that it's a forceful letdown and/or needing to burp. It seems it's been both for my LO before.
koat:Yes. I take the opportunity to burp her (and she always has one) and then put her back on.
This happens to me several times a day! It's most frustrating when he does it in the middle of the night and I'm so tired. Sometimes he burps, but sometimes when I go to burp him he just fusses like he doesn't want to stop, although he usually does end up burping after a few minutes. If anyone comes up with a solution to this, I'd be interested!!
She does the head bobbing thing and this. I generally try to burp her since she just bobs off when I relatch her.
