Purple legs...

While taking a shower a few minutes ago I noticed that my legs looked purple with red and white splotches.  I'm 34 weeks and a day today...is this normal?  It freaked me out a little!

maybe varicose veins.  check with your doctor.  I have them near my left ankle halfway to my calf and they look like a huge splotchy bruise.  any pain there when you get up to walk after sitting or lying down?

Both swollen and itchy...I just talked to my doctor's NP this morning about the fact that when I wake up in the morning my feet are killing me.  She said to stay away from salt.  A friend mentioned toxemia.  I'm going to not eat salt for a few days and drink lots and lots of water...hopefully that will work.
