Hi ladies! I guess I should start by saying I mostly lurk on this board, but I thought my question/situation was most appropriate here. So here it goes:
I went out on maternity leave in December, with an agreement with my boss to come back to work in February for 3 days/week until the end of summer/beginning of fall. Last week I let my boss know that I was ready to return to my full schedule, and he said that his boss (really our overall boss) wants to keep me at 3 days permanently. I'm technically a salaried employee, but with my schedule now I'm working 30 hours/week and getting paid based on those hours (read: less money). I feel like I'm being punished for having a baby, and no one else is being asked to cut back on their salaries or time at work. Can my boss really (legally) do this to me?
