ping1080:My dr. has told me that menstrual type cramps (that don't have you doubled over in pain) are a sign that your body is getting ready! Could be your cervix dilating or thinning out!
This is what my OB explained to me when I asked him about it.
Jeane_P:Welcome to the early signs of labor, this are the start of mild contrax your cervix is starting to thin/dilate. Welcome to the club!
yep... with my first labor started with my contractions feeling like menstrual cramps... if you are ready I would walk as much as you can and keep them coming :)
I started getting a lot of menstrual type cramping last week for the whole week and at my dr apt I ended up being dialated to a 3! So your body is just preparing for labor! Woohoo
