Before I get into the story I'll just say, I think my SO's actions today stem from a txt picture we got last night from my parents (they found these adorable Batman onesies and bought them for Oliver) and SO just had this whole new realm of possibilities opened for him. (He's a huge nerd. Gamer/computers/comic books/graphic novels. And, you know, sometimes batman is just way more cool then bear footsie pajamas to a guy lol).
My SO just txt me saying he announced on his "man forums" (on the website gamerswithjobs) that he is going to be a dad. Lol! AND that all the guys were congratulating him and telling him how awesome fatherhood is. The way he kept saying it, all excited, and how they were so supportive, made me tear up...because that's so freaking adorable! I laugh now because he always teases me for getting on the bump, and now he posted on one of his forums about baby, hehe!
Anyways, they linked him to this article a guy wrote called "The Fourth Trimester" and I don't know if any of you ladies have read it, but most of it's pretty cute. Some of it is definite levity, definite geek factor, some of it is guys being guys and possibly not "getting it" and some I don't agree with (no flames for those parts, I know which they are! lol) But, overall, the spirit of it is pretty cute. Even if it's not what all of us or most of us would actually do, I thought I'd share it with you and if you'd like to pass it along to your guys, you have the option! :)
