My BF and I love the name Adler for a boy. What do you think?

It would be "Adler Paul". Paul is BFs middle name.

We also like Mason Charles.

Adler doesn't really do much for me.  Sounds like a tree or a snake...

I think Adler is a little trendy...or it sounds like a last name, but the combination Adler Paul sounds very manly.  I also love your other name!!

It's not awful, but I do think of a last name, particularly Grace Adler from "Will and Grace." And while Mason is fine, for some reason when I read Mason Charles, I read Charles Manson, which isn't cool.

To me it's a last name, not a first name. Also, are you Jewish? It's a Jewish last name so I would also assume that he was Jewish if he was named that.

Everytime this name comes up, all I see is Elder. As in Elder Paul, similar to how Mormon people are addressed.
