When in your cycle do you get them?
I used to be a "right before period" type of girl. But, these last two cycles, I have added "a week before ovulation" as well. I was crystal-clear-commerical-ready all during PG and for about 3 weeks after the D&C.
I'm trying to figure out what gives?
Re: Let's talk pimples...
Your hormone levels. They CHANGE after a m/c. Don't expect your old "normal' to be the new "normal"...
Pregnancy changes the body.

This exactly for me too
My skin is no longer my skin since the m/c... I have acne for the first time in my life so I've been trying to find things that work since.
I just started using a new cleanser: Vichy Normaderm Acne Prone Skin.
So far, pretty good!!!
Right around AF and right b4 O for me. I struggled w/adult acne ages 20-24 I saw a dermatlgst and he put me on the following regimen:
1. Oral dose doxycycline (sp) every day 1x/day - to kill bacteria? Rx only
2. Benzoyle peroxide gel every other night - OTC 10% solution
3. Differin gel every other night (off night from benz perox) Rx only
after about 3 months, gone, forever ! (except for the occasional AF stuff)
now when i have break outs, i just use the benzoyl peroxide and it seems to work great!!
My skin was very, very bad for 2-3 months after the miscarriage. Then it evened out. Now it's back to normal. It took me 9 weeks to get AF, so my body was clearly not handling the hormone changes well.
Your skin will clear up eventually. It just takes time.

I started getting a lot of pimples a few years ago. Summer of 2007, I broke out like crazy-and nothing helped. I tried getting facials, I tried really expensive skin care stuff. It eventually got better.
Now, I still get pimples, but it's not too bad.
I have noticed since the two m/c's, my skin hasn't really changed that much, but my hair got ridiculous. It doesn't hold color like it used to, it's extra frizzy and doesn't cooperate. My sister is a hair stylist and I talked to her about it. She said that even though I was only pregnant for a short time both times, that's long enough to really change my hormones and my hair is effected by that. She says that she has had clients that get pregnant and go from super curly hair to poker straight and super straight hair to really curly. That's crazy.
