Especially RE: baby gear.
Every time someone talks to me about carseats or strollers, I make an IMMEDIATE judgement based on what they chose and why.
I wish I could stop, and I try... But I can't. And I know that they are all made to certain safety standards, so they aren't UNSAFE. They just may not be what I view to be the BEST.
The least you could do is tell me that you do this too.
Re: I hate how judgemental I can be.
But yes, I suppose the best way to say it is that I'm a label whore.
Are you kidding me?
If that's the basis of your judgments, you're fine. I judge people on whether or not they know how to spell, if they pronounce the "r" in "February" and how much of Aristotle's Poetics they can spout.

Well... That's not ALL. But that's all that's on my mind right now.
I know how to spell, generally do not pronounce the 'r' in February and don't know a word of 'Peotics'.
But somehow you still like me!
It's amazing, isn't it?
Evenflo. I would never in a billion years buy an Evenflo carseat. I wouldn't even take one for free.
I have a Graco and I feel a little ghetto. I wish I had a Chicco. THEN I could really be the best!
Ironically, I am not the hugest fan of Britax. I am complex.
And for this I agree with you...I have a Graco as well but I dont feel in the least bit ghetto...I am wanting to upgrade to a Chicco...I got the Graco because I LOVE the effing stroller...its life's complexities that make things interesting...mwah!
I really want the Maxi Cosi Foray. I want to trash my Graco.

ouch! but in my defense, i have a touch of OCD when it comes to matching things and the travel system, pnp, carseat, swing and high chair HAD to match or i wouldve went crazy
I am the same way!! I try not to bad mouth other peoples stuff, but I so want to sometimes.
I would never dream of putting DD is anything but a Britax convertible seat, and I feel everything else is unsafe! I know this is not true, but I can't help it.
On the flip side I'm sure people judge me, I spent almost $1000 on my stroller (bugaboo) but to me it was so worth it!!

I was peer pressured into my travel system with DD. I hate it! I have used the stroller a handful of times only. It is heavy as heck.
We got the City Mini double stroller and a freakin' love it. I should have trusted my instincts and skipped the travel system.
