Baby Names

Baby Name troubles.

My great grandmother recently passed away and DH and I decided to honor her by using her name as a middle name for our daughter. The only problem is, we can't figure out anything that goes with it. Here are some that we have thought:

Arabella HAZEL

Bethany HAZEL

Any suggestions?!!?

  • Arabella is such a mouthful... I like Arabelle more.
  • imho, Arabella sounds like you're trying to hard to be fancy. It's just nms. I think Bethany is beautiful, but I will warn you that lots of people on here will hate it. (i've already posted about Bethany) They say it is too 80's, but I disagree. People are still naming their kids Caitlin and Lauren and stuff..... why not Bethany?

  • Arabella makes me think of portabella mushrooms and Arabic...it does seem like the 'uh' sound is tacked on...Arabelle might be a better choice. I like the name Hazel - I have a friend in her 20s named, Hazel and she's a sweetie.

Lilliana is the first thing that comes to mind. Isabella, Estella, Gabriella, Marina, Sabrina, Elliana, Lauren, etc. might also be nice. I think you're on the right track with very feminine first names.
