I read an article for those of us who are pregnant and need an energy boost and of course I can't find it now.
I think almonds was on the list. Also choose foods that are high in carbohydrates and good fats for an instant energy boost. Eat blueberries which contain certain antioxidants and stimulate the brain. Try some dried fruit, whole grain toast or nuts which will release blood into your system slowly, giving you a longer boost of energy.
