Fever temp?

Is 99 degrees a fever when you take the temp from a pacifier thermometer?

It's really hard to say because those aren't always reliable.  Can you take it rectally?  Over 100.4 is a fever rectally.

99 degrees is not a fever rectally. I would take it rectally if you can. Anywhere else is not as reliable.

Diddo what everyone else said, also contact the doctor, if temp. doesn't go down.

if you do it under the arm add 1 degree, was just at pedi this am (DD has cough) and she said fever at this age is 101*.......if temp is 99 or 100 and baby is showing other signs of illness/something not right to call pedi.  and rectal temp is most accurate.
