Hey everyone,
I just started charting earlier this month and I've been taking my bbt for almost three weeks now. The only pattern I'm seeing is that my temps are higher on saturdays and sundays and then they go back down during the week! I think that I understand the concept pretty well, and I know I should be trying to take the temp at the same time every day, but I am not getting up at 5:45 on a weekend! Has anyone else experienced this? Does it have to do with waking up to an alarm? argh, I am starting to get frustrated with it, and I just thought I would ask to see if anyone has any experience with it
Thanks in advance for all your help!!!
Re: New to charting, using BBT
The time that you take your temperature can affect temps. It is advised that you temp at the same time everyday. I usually set my alarm for the same time everyday and then go back to sleep.
Welcome and good luck!!

You have to take it at the same time everyday!
The longer you goes past your normal time the higher the temp will be. (Generally.) You have to set an alarm on the weekends and then just go back to sleep. You will get used to it.

This!! Hope it all works out!!
If it makes you feel any better I have to get up at 4:30 for work during the week.... so I gotta get up SUPER early on the weekends. Though I do think it's like all the PP posters have said-- you'll get used to it
