Just posted about this below. It's like being the only sober person in the room. It just isn't fun.
Totally agree. Sucky.

A coworker just asked if I was going to drink green beer today after work. Apparently, the bump I'm sporting didn't answer the question for her. :sigh:
FishNchips1:How about a green popsicle haha just trying to lighten the mood. also being pregnant on NYE Was sucky too.
NYE didn't phase me...in Boston St. Patty's is by far the #1 drinking "holiday"!
I want a beer... it doesn't even have to be green Next year watch out!
I want green beer!
We're going to vegas for my gfs stagette, that is gonna suck to be preggo at too! The things we sacrifice for our babes!
I know, no green beer!!!!
But, I am looking at the bright side, no hang over tomorrow. So while everyone is having to call into work, or be slow moving, we can go be our cheerful selves and rub it in THEIR faces we feel wonderful. Sounds like a plan to me.
I agree, but at least we can still do shamrock shakes...
This was my inkling of alcohol on Saturday when we celebrated with friends:
It definitely helped and I'm making them again this weekend, possibly sans the uncooked alcohol.
But the worst part about today is that it's our anniversary and we can't split a bottle of wine!
aldyn:I don't care about missing a big drinking holiday, that was never my scene anyway. For me the challenge was my lack of green maternity clothes!
I am not a big drinker either. I just love having one or two really good beers. My SIL works for at local brewhaus and I love the seasonal selections!
This post was extremely depressing until someone mentioned Shamrock Shakes...
