I was prescribed Celexa twice (once in 1999 and again in 2002). This was long before I was pregnant... I did not find Celexa to be helpful. I felt no different on it than I did without it. Perhaps my dosage wasn't correct or it wasn't the drug for me. But that was my experience.
I was on Wellbutrin and Celexa combined for 5 years. The Wellbutrin helped with my depression and Celexa helped with the panic attacks/anxiety. This was way before I got pregnant. I was prescribed Celexa again by my OB for PPD. I've been on it for about 2 weeks almost. I feel "less" anxious but that's it. IT may not be medicine related though. I've been at my mom's since Tuesday and she's been helping me a lot.
But with my past experience it seemed to help me a lot. I stopped having panic attacks.
