How long were you 3 cm dilated before going into labor?

Hi Ladies!

 Congrats to you who have already given birth! :-)

 I wanted to know how long you were at 3 cm before actually going into labor, or did some of you go into labor before being at least 3cm?

Hi!

 I'm 34 weeks with my third right now. With both of my first two pregnancies I was only 1cm dilated before going into labor! You never know! With my first I had gone to the doctor just the day before going into labor.

i was 3 cm for 2 weeks but then ended up being induced at 41 wks.  gl!!

I went into labor at 3 cm which was at 5:30am.  My son was born at 2:30pm. Good luck!

I was 0 cm when I went into labor.

With my first I didn't have an internal before going into labour so I'm not sure. With my second I was already 5 cm at my first internal and went into labour right after.
Anyways, my point is I know a lot of women who were 3 cm around 2 weeks before going into labour...in fact I think one was almost 4 weeks...so it can still take awhile.

I was 3 cm for around 4 weeks and 4 cm for 2 weeks before I delivered J at 37 weeks.

I was 1-2 cm when my water broke.  GL!

15 days.

8 days at 4cm 100% effaced.

When I finally went into labor it only took 3 hours start to finish.
