Just got awful news...I want to cry...

A good friend of my dad's (and mine for that matter) drives a school bus. Yesterday she stopped at the stop sign before pulling on onto the highway. It was so foggy outside you could barely see a few feet in front of you. She pulled out and a semi hit her directly on the driver's side. She was life-flighted to Des Moines. I haven't heard her condition but I can't imagine it being very good. Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Her name is Jody and she is one of the nicest, funniest, most down to earth, wholesome women I know.

No kids were on the bus thank God. She was just about to start her route when this happened.

Wow, that's so crazy. You would think if it was that foggy a semi-driver of all people would know he needs to slow down and be extra careful. Those things can't exactly stop on a dime.
