Let us guide you along week-by-week!)
When do they start? I have made my next 3 appt because I go once more in 4 weeks and then start going every other week.
Do they start when I start going every other week?
My doctor doesn't do them unless he thinks there's a need. No problems = no internals.
Actually I like this better. I'd rather not know if I'm dialated/effacted and then still be stuck with a baby who wants to come late. It would just make me more impatient/anxious.
Mine started at 35 weeks when I had my GBS test done. Then at 36 weeks, you start going every week and usually get an internal at each visit.
Ask your doctor. It is different in every office.
Sometimes doctors don't do them unless requested.
