beer out of microfiber?

Poor DH was so exhausted last night he fell asleep on the couch holding his beer!  UGH!  I cleaned it last night with ivory soap.  But it still smells a little this morning.  There's no stain, it just smells.  Any idea how to get the smell out f the microfiber couch?  It's brown, so nothing that will mess up the color!  TIA!

    We have a microfiber couch and I've used Resolve carpet/upholstery cleaner on it many times with good results (including cleaning up a number of drippy bottles!).

    Vinegar.  Seriously.  Spot test it first in an inconspicuous spot to make sure it does not leave a ring.  Dilute 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water and scrub the stain after the spot test is ok.  White vinegar is my favorite odor remover.
