Nope, not bringing it. You're not supposed to really pump for about 4 weeks anyway because it can interfere with getting your supply established. I think the pump I bought comes with a DVD, so I'll just watch that at home after DS is here. If I need extra help I can always call LLL. GL!
No. At my breastfeeding class at the hospital the LC said not to bring it. They have the hospital-grade pumps that you can use while you are there to get the hang of it. They also recommended not opening it until after LO arrives in case it needs to be exchanged for a different kind of pump.
No, you have so much stuff anyway to figure out/bring home with a new baby. Pumps really aren't that hard to figure out, and mine came with a DVD explaining how to use it, set it up, etc.
Overall I have heard not to bring it (bringing too much stuff, hospital has on to show you if needed, etc) We have a breastfeeding center (supply store) in my town that fields questions about all pumps, offers classes and has a hotline to LLL or LC 24hrs for moms to call when needed. Most of all of their services are free (help in the store and on the phone) Home visits by a LC does have a charge.

I have heard this from a lot of mommies before me.
