Extremely dumb question and I did google it to no avail.....
We all know not to swim in a hot tub or stay submerged in a super uber hot bath for any period of time, but what about cold water? My MIL is filling her pool tomorrow and I want to go swimming as soon as it's filled but the water is going to be really cold in the beginning. Is there such a thing as too cold of water? I would imagine my body temperature will regulate itself enough and as long as I'm not shivering it should be fine, but I'm being paranoid.
(I just re-read this and I'm even thinking this has got to be the stupidest sounding questions in a long time, so please don't flame me too harshly)
Re: Water too cold??
Nothing to flame over, really. But, you wouldn't normally go into a "super-duper hot" bath even if you are not pregnant. Cold water is fine. Its only when your water has broken that you can't go in the bath for a very long time however, you still can for a limited time.
