@Anna_1021 thanks! I'm not sure if I need a follow up or not. I have CD3 bloodwork scheduled for next cycle (but I'm hoping I get KU this cycle and won't need it! ). In any case, there's a bit more testing that I have to do. I always thought my issues were more of a hormone imbalance than something else.
@BertieMeetsGertie I can only tell you what my friend told be today (I'm sure tomorrow at the docs appointment we'll schedule an HSG for me for the next cycle...) : I really hope you will not have to do that test!

R/R: Crazy morning trying to get into work! There was a lot of rain overnight and it has flooded everything. I was supposed to have CPR training today but it got cancelled due to the rain/flooding so now I get to just sit at work and Bump because I don't have any patients until 3pm.
@TravelingCouple Hope your DH starts to feel better soon and you are able to catch up on some sleep! I'm feeling a bit groggy today myself after receiving not one but two Amber alerts in the middle of the night on my phone. To make it worst, my DH phone would ring like 5 min before or after mine so right as we fell asleep another phone would go off. (Small price to pay for a missing child though) @kt1992 Hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy the time with your son!
@kiwi2628 Sounds like a great day you have planned!
@Tennis11785 I have been wanting the surface pro forever!! I am not a MAC person when it comes to computers. My previous dinosaur Dell laptop that I bought in grad school died on me a few weeks ago so I have been using my husband's MAC air and I can't stand it. Everyone says I will get used to it but I don't know about that.
@ag90 I was the complete opposite when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. I wanted them to knock me out!! I couldn't imagine being awake for that so I give you credit!
@heatherdubrow I get the idea of a sprinkle if the second child is a different sex but I do get a little judgy when the second is the same sex. All of these different parties are becoming a little out of control. Like why don't we just all save our money and buy our own stuff? I feel like my friends and I have just been exchanging money for the past 3+ years with all the showers, weddings, ect. Don't get me wrong, I love getting together with my GF's to celebrate and just see them but it's flipping expensive! Hopefully your friend is in good spirits today though and the complaining is at a minimum. Also, hope you have an amazing time in Hawaii!!
@JJMNO1616 it's the same sex! I actually love getting together and celebrating my friends, I'm just thoroughly annoyed at the moment. I'm sure it will be fun though!
@JJMNO1616 if we weren't TTC right after, I'd be way upset about not going under. But, my teeth aren't impacted so insurance won't pay for going under anyway and at this point seems safer with TTC to not go under - and put that money in our baby fund! My main concern now is hoping Valium + local anesthesia + laughing gas doesn't negatively affect TTC...and hoping I can get by on the pain afterwards with just Tylenol Anyway, sounds like you're having a nice relaxing day with CPR being cancelled!
I should probably not be bumping as much considering today's workload

@ag90 Welcome! I would bring up your concerns about hearing the noises and see if they have earplugs or if you can have headphones in or something. That's one of the things I always hated about having cavities filled was the sound of the drill.

As much as it may really blow, I'd stick to the Motrin... maybe you can ask right before your appointment?
@ag90 That all makes a lot of sense! All 4 of my teeth were compacted so the situation was different. I know lots of people who have been awake even with compacted teeth though and they didn't have any issues with it. So the fact your teeth have already come in is a huge plus! I can also say that even with my compacted procedure I hardly needed the vicodin they gave me. I took it for like 1-2 days and then switched to Tylenol. I may not have even needed something as strong as Vicodin in the first place. Everyone is obviously different but just thought I would share.

WAYDTGKU: Had my first IUI this morning, second is tomorrow morning. All went well today.
R/R: I purposefully went in today with a full bladder because I know my cervix is far back and narrow, and I read that a full bladder makes it easier to find, but the nurse told me to empty it. Guess what, she had a hard time today and told me to have a full bladder during my IUI tomorrow. Mmhmm.
CS/Q: no temping this cycle. I do have a confession, though- I took a hpt this morning since I triggered last night. I read that someone took one every day after trigger, so that she would know when the trigger hcg was out of her system and could take a real hpt and I respect that level of BSC. Really, I just wanted to see the two lines.

@JuneRoseRuby They are both anti inflammation drugs....I think the difference is just the active ingredient. Maybe ask a pharmacist since the mg dosage might not be the same because of it?
Thank you ladies for the well and sleep wishes. DS is napping, but still coughing intermittently, poor guy. I went to pick up tissues, DayQuil, NyQuil, new Binks for DS and an eye mask.. Arming myself for tonight. I wish there was a cough suppressant I could give DS but I think he's too little for all OTC, and the home remedies aren't working.
WAYDTGKU: Waiting
for RE appointment next week. I've been having a couple days of EWCM and I think O was yesterday or is today but I'm not sure so I may cave and take an OPK today... @bertiemeetsgertie the allure of the OPK is too strong!
R/R: Guys! I just really, truly enjoyed a live drive-by for the first time.
CS/Q:
GTKY: I love this GTKY! It was "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul. I've never even heard that song before! I'm enjoying the blast from the past with some of your songs too
@cdnrunning -Long cycles SUCK. My last one was 32 days. Coming off HBC, my first three cycles were 40+ days. Luckily, I think last month was long due to holiday stress (didn't O til CD21). Hang in there! @JuneRoseRuby -Good luck w/ your STP! Positive vibes! @BertieMeetsGertie -Yay for good biopsy results!! @TravelingCouple -Sorry things are rough on the homefront... least you're not sick too(?) This too shall pass... @kt1992 -Sorry you're not feeling well! Hope you feel better soon! @ag90- Sorry about the wisdom teeth... I dread having to ever do that. I have one that's impacted and partially surfaced and it's soo creepy to look at. My dentist is on team "if it's not hurting or pushing your teeth out of alignment, leave it alone." Grateful I can just let it chill for now. @heatherdubrow -Hawaii sounds soooo nice right now. My BFF and her fiance are going in March (his parents live there) and I'm kind of jealous. I really can't complain... I had a nice long European vacation in October... but Hawaii is perfect for a winter getaway. Also- I'm so glad you explain the sprinkle as "only the most ridiculous thing in the world." Lol.. I'm not sure if it's an UO or not... but showers for 2nd kids rubs me the wrong way. I've never been a mom and maybe I'm just ignorant... but what about the stuff you have from baby #1? I mean, ok if you're kids are far apart in age... but really, it just seems to me very AWish. (Don't mean to offend anyone, just my humble opinion) @bluejeanbabi05 -Lol at the post trigger HPT. Don't worry.. I'd probably do the same thing :-p

WAYDTGKU: BBT/CM/OPK/Fern test/healthy cycle tea
R/R: Moody today. Couldn't get DH to BD last night. A couple days ago he said "so when do we have to start doing it? You're going to clue me in right?" I told him, yes I would let him know.. probably sometime in the next week or so. Yesterday I saw EWCM.. still don't have a positive OPK (but I would like to start before I get a positive anyways.) I've only got partial ferning, but the EW is a big sign, considering I haven't gotten much if at all in the past couple of cycles. (Maybe the tea is helping?) Anyways, I told him we need to start BDing and he shut down. Looked at me as if I was crazy and said "but how do you go from next week to a day later?" I explained (AGAIN) that I'm only reading the signs and I don't have a magic crystal ball... and he said "well, maybe on Thursday." **Huge eye roll** you can't just put this stuff off. You never know when you might miss it. Grr... I go through this crap every month. You would think he'd get it by now.
CS/Q: Nothing today.. other than my rant above.
GTKY: What was the #1 song on the day you were born? (https://playback.fm/birthday-song) Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) by Phil Collins
R/R: Rant: Saw my OB today to talk to her about the fact that I haven't cycled after stopping birth control 4(almost 5) months ago. Last time I saw her she was not all that concerned about my lack of period. Complete 180 this time. She immediately started talking about the tests we will run and having DH do a SA. She wants me to call her after this weekend because I had a positive OPK(but no resulting temp rise) on the 6th and she wants to see what this weekend brings, if anything. How did we go from it takes time for your cycle to regulate to we need to start testing, in a matter of weeks. I don't know what to think, thanks for letting me rant.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What was the #1 song the day you were born?
Love Will Never Do(Without You)- Janet Jackson
ETA: Sorry my rant above sounds bitchy. I think I was taken by surprise. I honestly thought she would give me something to jumpstart my period and I'd be on my way. She totally threw me for a loop today.. Still trying to let it all sink in. It will be nice to get the information and figure out what's going on with my cylces!
R/R: I am so stressed out. Husband and I found a house we like, but my FIL is making us go through hoops to prove it's a good home. He's friends with our realtor so we haven't put an offer in although we said we wanted to several days ago. I love my FIL, and I know he has our best interest at heart and he's not wrong. It's just a little frustrating. Also, this house will be slightly more than we were paying in our apartment. We can afford it while we have a room mate, but if he decides to leave we will either need to find a new one or I will have to get a job. It's doable, I'm not all that worried about it but my FIL is. Ideally we'd be able to afford it just on my husband's pay, but it's just not happening here in the economy with no education. My husband is going to look for a better job after we move, so it should only get better. But now I'm over here biting my nails about the logistics of it all! *sigh*
CS/Q: My temps have remained elevated. They are not coming down. I'm usually in the 96.4 range, and I jumped up to the 70.2 range when I ovulated (maybe) last cycle... and there I sit 8 days into the next cycle. I'm just over here like "What are you doing?"

@LuND-(I think you meant to tag me ) Yeah it's super annoying. I don't know if it's his way of reacting to the pressure of TTC.. but he always resists when I let him know it's time. I always end up upset, and then feel bad about it because it makes me seem like I only want him to get KU. (Which isn't true- but we don't have a super active sex life outside of TTC.. so when it's scheduled like that, I guess it adds pressure?) I'd opt to not tell him, but I feel like if I do that things just wouldn't happen. I'm tempted to yell "just be a man and do your wife
@crazypuglady My DH and I are the same way. I have a generally low sex drive so we don't HIO very often. I'm hoping now that I am off BC that will improve in general but also particularly for TTC. I have already given my husband the forwarning that I will probably become very forward about DTD when we are actively TTC lol. The frequency is going to be a huge change for the both of us and sadly I admit it probably will mostly be because I want to TTC. Not that I don't absoutelty love my husband, it's just that the drive isn't there most of the time.
@JJMNO1616 -Mine was pretty much non existent on BC. I even asked my GYN if it had anything to do w/ the pills and she said probably not, and that it's common for women to have reduced libido as they age. (I used to want it all the time in my late-teens/early 20's) When I came off the pill though, I noticed there is definitely a surge in my drive right before/around FW. I was astounded because I hadn't felt like that in years, and I know now it MUST have been the BCP. Unfortunately, DH is all about quality and not quantity. It's unusually hard to initiate with him. Unless he's on-board, it's almost impossible to get him interested. Cue the monthly BD drama. Sigh.
R/R: So I was thinking of moving to TWW, but I have 33+ cycle so this week is supposed to be my FW so I'll stick around for this week. Negative OPK this morning.

@JuneRoseRuby They are both anti inflammation drugs....I think the difference is just the active ingredient. Maybe ask a pharmacist since the mg dosage might not be the same because of it?
@BertieMeetsGertie Yay for good results!!
I'll be back later for more convo.
Month/Cycle: 10/10

GTKY: What was the #1 song on the day you were born?
Open Your Heart by Madonna
@bluejeanbabi05 FX for you with your first IUI!!
@Bertiemeetsgertie I'm so glad you got the results back and it's all clear! Now here's hoping that biopsy spot is a place for implantation!
@TravelingCouple Ugh I'm so sorry the family is still so sick!
@JulesDP I haven't seen much more about slow rises, sorry. I can't imagine it's a problem, though, since it shows up in PG charts.
@kiwi2628 Have a great day off!
@ag90 Welcome! My dentist lets you bring earbuds so that you can listen to your own music the whole time. Echoing PPs, just ask!
@virginiaham Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this! FX the follicles start growing soon!
Month/Cycle: 8/9 (month rollover ughhhh)
CD: whatever day @jess0211 and @julesdp and @travelingcouple are on
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for RE appointment next week.
I'm enjoying the blast from the past with some of your songs too
@JuneRoseRuby -Good luck w/ your STP!
(Don't mean to offend anyone, just my humble opinion)
@bluejeanbabi05 -Lol at the post trigger HPT. Don't worry.. I'd probably do the same thing :-p

WAYDTGKU: Temping, pnv, cm... stuff.

@kmornelas29 - I do it once a day. You might want to double check the directions, but doing it more frequently than that I think messes with the device reader. I'd just get busy hio!
