Since the birth questions have started, I thought I'd share this story from last summer.  This is birth and new motherhood!

I've seen this photo and others a million times (I'm not sure if this is the one that started the trend) but to those who were wondering about the mesh panties in the other thread, here's a pic! Yes, the pads resemble a twin sized mattress also.

I was so freaked out pp that my husband helped me put the 1st pair on after I had to pee. He still brags that he diapered me before our baby.  sweetest man alive! I'm going to bring my own pads to the hospital this time. The GIANT industrial sized hospital ones were just a pain.

I also required husband assistance, but that was mainly due to the c section. I needed help getting my "pull up" and pants back on and help getting up off the toilet. I used depends after leaving the hospital. They were more user friendly.

Yep, I required help from DH when using the bathroom in the hospital room. Also needed his help with that first shower and made him check out a couple of mega huge clots that came out of me. We joke about those times now. Honestly the whole labor thing is very revealing. But, those first few days postpartum are, in my opinion, the real revealers. Hemorrhoids and bleeding nipples. Such good bonding times.

I use amazons subscribe and safe and just added a box of depends to my February shipment.  May not be sexy but I'm hoping they are practical and comfortable.
