R/R: going to purge closets today before I head to work. I hold onto things ( not like hoarders ::shudder::) thinking I'll have a yard sale and can sell it. But I never have the time. Soooo off to goodwill it goes.
CS/Q: nothing yet. Will probably start to use OPKs on Sunday. One a day until it shows something. Once something shows, 2-3 a day right, until it's super dark right?? I have wondfos.

People seem to be surprised when I tell them about my teen years. What it was like at home , how I wanted to never be there, how I tried to escape it all. I am a complete opposite of that now , and people "just can't see it".

R/R: FF has today as O day, based on OPKs and CM, I am inclined to agree so I'll move over to TWW tomorrow. Today is pretty quiet, we received the check from the insurance company for our totaled car so that's good news! Someone was singing Christmas carols in the restroom at work this morning...someone should tell them it's mid-January.

GTKY: What is one thing about you that people always seem a little surprised when they first find out? Like @canonmom413 people are always surprised to hear about my younger years. I was a very different person then and since I don't live near my family people don't associate me with a different kind of life than I lead now, if that makes sense.

R/R: DH was a trooper and was able to hio last night!! I know he wasn't really in the mood, so I'm just really happy he was able to BD. He also told me over the weekend that he had a dream that I was KU, so of course I'm really excited about this cycle. I'm not in even TWW yet but am really putting a lot of stock into my gums bleeding more than normal when flossing last night. Dear lord someone help me!
CS/Q: had a nice temp spike this morning so pretty sure O was yesterday!

for some reason, whenever I meet people for the first time they have a tendency to think that I don't like them. I dont think I have resting bitch face, so maybe it's because I'm generally shy and fairly introverted. Anywho, once I get to know them, they know I'm just a generally awesome person.

@canonmom413 do you check the OPKs while you're at work once something shows up? I'm just curious about timing and whether I can (want) pull that off.
Purging is so therapeutic. I keep saving stuff thinking we'll have a yard sale and that has never happened, EVER. Sooooo, I take our stuff to Women's Shelter in downtown Dallas.
@lulu1180 we just got prime a month ago but haven't checked out the videos yet. I did, however, start reading a new book that I didn't have to pay for! I also didn't realize they had an Amazon pantry. I'll have to look into that!

R/R: I have a half day at work - woohoo! But it's for a dentist appointment...which is boo. I'm glad to get this cavity fixed though! Honestly, right now I'd rather be at the dentist than work. That's saying something!
CS/Q: Nope. This stupid cold has my temps off, so they're artificially high. I had to order new wondfos because I'm down to 2...from 50. And, even though economically you get more for your money if you buy them with the hpts I did not. I have about 800,000 if those things and do not need 20 more. I could be like the Oprah of my neighborhood and just start handing them out to everyone. Ugh.

I would say the details of my entire upbringing, but I don't usually share those anyway.
Probably that I have multiple tattoos. Unless you've seen me in a bikini, you have no idea they're there and my job/personality doesn't really tip you off.

R/R: Its my Friday! And my H was absolutely the best yesterday. Between Monday, CD1, cycle 6 and all that, it was also just a terrible day at work. He had off, so I texted him, jokingly, to have a glass of wine ready for me when I got home. Well, he wasn't home when I got there, so I open a bottle, pour myself a glass, and sit on the couch. Just then he walks in...he had gone to buy me feel better food. A baguette, cheese, chorizo, grapes and cookies. And we snacked on that and then he cooked me dinner. He may be the best.

That I am over the age of 16. Seriously. I look like a child. I am 29 and I still get carded both for booze and sometimes R rated movies. I have had more than one client ask me (after I introduce myself as Dr. Kiwi), 'So when is the doctor coming in?' '....thats me. Dr. Kiwi. Remember?' 'Oh! I thought you were like a high school intern!'
@lulu1180 I've found certain things on Amazon to be cheaper, like dog food! There's nothing worse than realizing you're out of dog food and have to drive to the darn pet store. I am pretty sure H and I have a Prime box show up every other day...
@cdnrunning You made me lol at my desk with your comment about being Canadian. I grew up right on the border, NY side, so it actually took some adjusting when I moved and realized almost no one was Canadian around me now...except my Bffs H...they moved with us. With regard to OPKs I have used them at work...not always easy lol

@cdnrunning I have a short LH surge so I usually do OPKs 3-4x a day when O is near. So far I've been able to pull off testing at work!

Morning! I've never used them (OPKS) before.... first timer here! I think since they are so cheap, it doesnt hurt, whether the accuracy is off or not, I see they *help* more than anything when accompanied with temping etc.

WAYDTGKU: IUI with Femara and trigger tonight. Doing two IUIs, tomorrow and thursday. Oh my lanta I got myself so worked up for my ultrasound this morning that the nurse took my blood pressure and asked if I was alright. Lol.
R/R: All the raves today. I have two pretty follies at 18mm and 21mm. I'm looking forward to giving myself the shot tonight. I may have mentioned that to the lady checking me out and she gave me a very strange look.

@lulu1180 - I love Prime. I use the music a lot - I don't pay for spotify or anything else. Plus we order like a zillion things online. I like that they have the feature where you can set certain things to just regularly ship to you (like paper towels or toilet paper). But if you do that, price check first - Target has the same feature and Ifound its about 50/50 as to which is cheaper.

But of course that makes me nervous and I'm debating cutting it completely. I think I'm going to try and cut it completely during the TWW and just keeping it limited during teh WTO time. (And this was a recommendation specific to me and my history/situation).

I'm still fairly active/atheltic, but 'm also way more into makeup/dresses/being girly. So the fact that Irefused to wear dresses for a while shocks people.

I think I wear a 6 around 160 ish, and I was wearing zeros at 135-140 so like, definitely not super-skinny, so it was hard to believe I was really fitting 0's and 2's!!! WAYDTGKU: Not going to lie, I have been slacking. I have been keeping up with vitamins and temping, but I just don't really have the motivation to do much else. I guess I am just feeling a little over it this cycle.
R/R: Went back to work today after the long weekend to find out I did not get referred for a job I applied to, even though I really thought I had a good shot. This morning I felt like actually dressing up for once, and of course I manage to put a gigantic hole in my stockings 3 hours into my day. They are still salvageable for the moment, so I am hoping I can make it through to the end of the day.
CS/Q: Nothing to see.
GTKY: What is one thing about you that people always seem a little surprised when they first find out? I am very, very shy when I first meet someone, so they are usually pretty surprised once I start to open up more and they realize how loud and goofy I actually am. Most people are also pretty surprised once they realize I have 3 fairly large tattoos as well. No one thinks I look like the "type" to have tattoos, and all of mine are either on my sides or my back so they are pretty much always covered.

R/R: I'm having such a terrible day, and feeling so despaired about TTC. DH is now sick, DS was up all night coughing and none of us hardly slept. I got another -opk today so O is nowhere in sight. Somehow I already feel out this month even though I haven't even ovulated yet. I'm just so angry. And sad. Why am I still here?! It's been 15 cycles and I'm still here. Why aren't I on a BMB yet? I feel like our dream of having a big family is slipping away. I don't know what the answer is either. Do we take a break from trying? Keep trudging through? I don't even know which would give me less stress. Sorry this is so dear diary, just feeling like a head-in-a-hole kind of day.
