When will AF come??

I miscarried Dec. 21, I was only 5.5 weeks and measured at 3-4 weeks. I miscarried naturally. Still waiting for AF to show up. It will be 4 weeks this week. Ovulation tests have also been negative. I had hormone testing and my quant hcg was 18 the week of miscarriage. I've had a negative pregnancy test a week after miscarriage stopped. When is a time I should expect a period? My gyn said 2-4 week, but I've read 4-6 weeks. Thanks!

Unfortunately, after a miscarriage, all bets are off. Some people bounce right back and others take months to come to their new normal; some ovulate between miscarriage and period, some are annovulatory. My first period came 33 days after I took misoprostol and 28 days after I delivered the placenta. I had 28 day cycles like clockwork my entire adult life and now they are between 26 and 32 days.

My first miscarriage was a natural miscarriage and my period returned between 4-5 weeks after miscarriage (I had a blighted ovum discovered at 7 weeks).

With our most recent miscarriage, we were 10.5 weeks, baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. I had a D&C and my periods just returned exactly 8 weeks from my D&C.

Mine came at cycle day 32  I counted the first day of mc as day 1. There is a big range of when af will come back though.

My first AF showed up 37 days after my D&C.

Exactly 4 weeks from the start of the miscarriage.

1st mc I bled for three weeks straight, had a two week break, then a week of af. This time around I only bled for 8 days with mc. I'm now on cd 14 (day 1 being 1st day of mc bleeding) and am hoping it is similar in length to a normal cycle but we'll see what happens. Everyone is different.

Finally got Aunt Flo! If my MC day was day 1, it took 33 days for my period. I actually had some light pink spotting and I was hoping it was pregnancy spotting (but I knew my chances were slim since I never had a positive ovulation test). Now hopefully I ovulate this month and don't have a couple months of anovulatory cycles.
