2. Cauliflower.

4. Lots of movement, some painful.

6. Scheduled out hyponobirthing refresher dates. Selected a blessingway date. Booked henna artist for blessingway. We had a contractor do a bunch of little stuff last weekend that was on DH's nesting list. Made registries on Amazon and Target for the freebies and discounts (not to share).

7. Hypnobirthing refresher 1/29, 2/5. Maybe the following weekend, too.

1. How far along?  27 weeks. Almost 3rd tri!!

2. How big is baby?  Lettuce/bottle of sriracha/deflated basketball. Or just 2lbs and 14in. 

3. Appt this week? Next week. But trying to behave myself in preparation for glucose test next week. 

4. Symptoms? Pelvic pain. Braxton hicks. Tiredness. Shortness of breath. Heartburn. Insomnia. Weird dreams. Lots of movement (sometimes--and sometimes she's too quiet and I want to poke her). 

5. Rants/raves?  My dreams are so weird. Also, can't believe the third tri is almost here! What on earth. 

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week?  Decided on two pediatricians to call and meet. My art prints for the nursery are still stuck at the usps shipping center in Nashville and I don't know what to do. Ugh! Also, finalized my registry and ordered my welcome kit from Amazon. 

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when?  Feb 11th is my childbirth class. I want to pick a bf class and a babycare basics class which are available in February and March. I just need to pick dates and register. My birthing center tour is also Feb 11th after class.

3. Appt this week?  I have a check up on Thursday and I'll get my glucose results then.  I took the two hour test so I will find out if I straight up passed or failed

4. Symptoms?  Not too much this week, back pain comes and go.  Kicks more often, he makes my stomach move now which is cool.  

5. Rants/raves?  People keep telling us we need to add more stuff to our registry, I thought we had plenty but I don't know

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week? Some people sent us some big items that we had on our registry so I'm going to count that.  @HGRich as soon as I saw your post I went and finished my registry stuff so I can get my welcome box as well.  

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when?  I plan on taking what my hospital offers but they say to take then a few weeks before your due.  I'll going to ask my doctors about them at my appointment.

4. Symptoms? Mainly heartburn- but it's been better the past few days

5. Rants/raves? I'm so excited to be in the final trimester! 

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week? Not much, awaiting the furniture to come in. I'm holding off on buying anything more until after the shower, and when the completion discount kicks in.

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when? We're going to do a breastfeeding class and a childbirth class. Still trying to nail down a date.

1. How far along?: 26 weeks

3. Appt this week?: nothing until feb 4th

4. Symptoms?: I'm starting to feel huge haha. Still having some heartburn, fatigue, and being short of breath. Loving all of the kicks I've been getting lately this little one is very busy!

5. Rants/raves?: rant: this is partially my fault for waiting for so long, but I just got the flu shot a week and a half ago. There's been a new girl at my job, who sits right next to me, who was sick when she started a few weeks ago and got progressively worse. She didn't call out for a long time, which I completely sympathize with her as my boss does not give any paid sick days and she doesn't have health insurance. I know how much it sucks. She eventually called out on Friday because she ended up going to the ER. Turns out she has strep AND the flu. Several other of my coworkers have been sick within the past week, while coming to work, including my boss (I work in a very small office of 8 people total). DH has been sick along with everyone in his office, DHs family is sick, etc. the flu is now very widespread in my county and state for that matter at this point. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to get the flu before my flu shot starts to become effective (will be 2 weeks ago on Thursday, almost there!). I just want to build myself a bubble right now haha. 

Rave: I seriously love feeling so much movement from the baby, it's the sweetest feeling ever!  

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week? : BIL brought us his pack n play along with the changing table for it. I'm feeling so grateful that he has so much baby stuff to pass down to us!

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when?: I think I'm going to take the breastfeeding class, birthing class and infant care class (at my hospital taking those 3 together is bundled at a discounted rate).  Still trying to figure out a date since DH's schedule is wonky.

At my appt now. I'm waiting for my glucose blood draw.

Symptoms: exhaustion, itching, left groin and sciatic pain are wicked

Rants: I feel much more pregnant than I am.

Raves: I love the movement. I'm in third trimester! My maternity leave will be approved tmw. 

Preparation: We looked at bunk beds for our older two this wked. 

Classes: No, it's our third. All babies are different but we've the general idea. Lol

Rave: I'm excited for prenatal yoga today!

Prep: Washed & organized all the baby clothes. 

Classes: All of them that the hospital has to offer.  They're free if you're delivering there and I'd likely pay for them otherwise because they make me feel less stressed by arming myself with knowledge.

Symptoms: Sciatic nerve and back pain. It's terrible.
Rant: if one more person asks me if I'm going back to work, I am going to lose my shit. I have a master's degree in engineering. I love children but I don't like babies. Staying home for longer than 12 weeks sounds like a form of torture to me. But on April 3rd, how am I supposed to know all of that doesn't change? 
Rave: my nails are amazing.
Prep: just had my baby shower on Saturday
Classes: yes but haven't signed up

5. Rants/raves? I'm just so tired of being sick!

What did you do to prepare for baby this week? we finalized our pick for pediatrician, daycare, scheduled our maternity shoot, and picked up tons of baby things from my best friend (boxes of clothes, bassinet, swing, pack n play, wipe warmer, bottles, diaper bags, toys, play yard, bumbo, boppy pillow, bath tub, car seat, shoes, socks, blankets, etc, etc, etc) - we are ridiculously blessed!!  
7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when? I'm pretty sure we are taking the breastfeeding class.  I'm debating on that and the childbirth class.

@HGRich   here they consider us third trimester already! (count 40 weeks)

1. How far along?  27 weeks!  but what seems to be the more impactful number is that there is now 13 weeks to go!  at 13 weeks, we were just out of the first trimester woods, crazy!

2. How big is baby?  apparently a lettuce... but i'd say he is quite big because i am getting enormous. 

3. Appt this week?  None, but spoke to a midwife who is a friend of my cousin.  

4. Symptoms?  some tiny ligament pain yesterday, otherwise the only symptom seems to be the heaviness and awkward movement.  Putting on tights in the morning started to become difficult, which is scary because there are still three months to go! 

5. Rants/raves?  I am so scared of birth.  I am so scared of birth.  I am so scared.  Scared of the pain, scared of something going wrong, scared of my little one not coming out ok, scared of recovery....   to battle this, i am trying to educate myself as much as i can and use positive mantras. 

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week?  researched decorations and started to ask people pro and contra cosleeping.  so far i am torn. 

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when?  nothing booked for now, we really need to!

KaraMG35  I am so with you on this work thing!  some weeks ago my finance BP said "let's face it, you are not coming back" - well lets face it I bloody am!!!!!!!!  I love my job and importantly, I earn a lot, I don't want to lose either the job satisfaction or the money.  My husband has over 50 days holiday a year, so he can take some time off to "extend" my mat leave and this way baby will only go to nursery when he is 8 months.  stop trying to say that I will change my mind, I wont change my mind!!!  I hate the term "full time mum" - (stay at home mum is much better).  Are you saying that if i come back to work, i am not a mother full time?  Do I stop being a mother when I walk out of the door, then become a mother again when I get home??  Some people...

3. Appt this week? On Thursday - glucose test.  Super hoping I pass since I had GD with the last pregnancy but we shall see.  Last time I was so close to the fail markers they decided to fail me anyways - better safe than sorry I guess!

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week? Starting trying to pick fabric for her room so my mom can sew the curtains, sheets, and rail cover. We also got everything painted and furniture in place.  Just need to get some pictures up and order the name for over her crib. 

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when? I might take a breastfeeding class - this is #2 so that would probably be it if I do that at all.

1. How far along? 27 weeks (+2) I'm late AGAIN!

2. How big is baby? A bunch of bananas.. or a head if lettuce

3. Appt this week? Sitting waiting to get my blood drawn for GD- but none besides that

4. Symptoms? Lots of movement now! A little back bain, and pelvic pain... or soreness.. not sure how to explain it

5. Rants/raves? NBR- but this has been an awful week. Our brand new truck is having problems, and we thought our warrenty would cover it, but mice got to the wiring (so gross), so now it wont, and we have a $1000 deductable (life lesson). Its just bad timing! Yesterday I found out that my dog might have cancer. Shes been sick off and on for a month and they finally did some scans. They looked suspicious so radiology is taking a peak today. Breaks my heart. My power at my house has been out since 4pm yesterdat (is 930 am) and im on a well.. no shower and had to get ready in the dark. Ready for a new week!

6. What did you do to prepare for baby this week? Well the plan yesterday was get her room more put together and clean out some cabinets in the kitchen.. but since the power was out i couldnt do that. 

7. Are you taking any birthing classes or other classes to prepare for birth and baby? If so, when? Planning on it! It will be the last sunday this month or the last sunday in feb. DH works sundays so it depends on which one he can get off. If BF isnt covered in the class i will take a seperate one for that.

Its pretty cold @HGRich but thankfully the last few nights havent been too bad. I think last night it didnt get below 35. Snuggles and lots of blankets!

@m&max YES!!  I feel like I'm losing my mind. There are so many things I keep thinking I have to do at work only to see that I've already done them...and I honestly don't remember working on it!  I also never know what day it is anymore, just last Saturday my very confused DH woke up to me scrambling to get ready for work since I overslept because I thought it was Thursday haha.

For some reason numbers don't work for me anymore.  Everyday when I teach math I make some sort of stupid mistake.  Or I'll say one number and write another.
