Maternity leggings for tall girls?

I am having the toughest time finding tall maternity leggings.  I have a couple pairs from motherhood and they barely go down to my ankle.  I'm 5'9" with long legs.  I tried Old Navy, Target, Kohls... Any suggestions??

Re: Maternity leggings for tall girls?

  • Most of my regular leggings fit throughout pregnancy. They obviously sit a little lower but you might be able to save some money on "maternity" leggings and just get your regular favorites.

  • So, my solution wasn't cheap by any means, but post pregnancy, I still wear them. I invested in a few pairs of high waisted WunderUnders from lululemon. I went up 1-2 sizes (depending on the fabric) to accommodate the belly, as well has my butt. PP, they are amazing because it helps hold your empty belly in, and they aren't maternity pants.

  • Like PP, I just stayed in my regular leggings and rolled them under my belly when it got bigger. I have the opposite problem of you in that I'm short, so all of the maternity leggings I could find left those weird rolls up and down my legs and looked baggy, even when I sized down.

  • I only have one pair of regular leggings that I like... The rest have narrow waistbands that didn't fit great to begin with.  I'm willing to pay a high price if I know they are going to be good quality and comfortable.  I really like the feel of the full panel covering the belly.

  • Do you have any belly bands? I found they were great for covering my belly and adding a little support without needing to buy specific maternity clothing. I still use them now while breastfeeding when I need some tummy coverage but it's too warm for a nursing tank.

I stand by my post about lululemon. If you have a store near you, go try on a pair. Pre-pregnancy, I was 135lbs, I'm 5'6" and was a size 6 at lulu. All my high waisted leggings are size 8 except one pair that's a thicker material, which doesn't stretch as easily as the normal pants do, but they are so soft and really helped hold my belly up a little.

  • I've heard good things about athleta. I didn't buy them this last time but I definitely will next time, considering I hate jeans and basically only wear leggings. Would have been worth it. I think they come in taller sizes too but I could be wrong.
  • I am also taller and usually have this problem. I bought a pair of mossimo leggings with a fold over yoga top and they are so comfy. I can fold the band over wherever I want. I typically don't like full panel pants anyway.
  • Im 5'10 and found that champion maternity workout leggings from target are pretty long. They do have a small logo at the ankle though, but they are a thick cotton blend so the year don't really look like workout apparel. Ps they run large.
  • I'm 5'll w/ a 36" inseam and feel your pain.  I went to Motherhood yesterday (for the second time) and realized some of their sizing specify Long! -something I didn't notice the first time I was there.
I haven't checked them out yet but H&M has Maternity leggings. .
There is also LongTallSally, all their clothes are for tall woman and they have maternity leggings for $50.
  • LulaRoe leggings are my go-to!

  • TC Lularoe leggings are amazing!!
  • I'm 5'11" and found my faves at Motherhood Maternity as well. They come just shy of the ankle but they're pretty decent length for the price point
  • I got a pair of LLR leggings for Christmas and they are GLORIOUS!!!!
