    1. How far along are you and what is your EDD? 10+2 today! EDD 6/3/17.

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? More of the same... nausea, exhaustion, sore boobs, etc. Also having some lower back pain again.

    3. When is your next appointment? On 11/15 we have a consult with the MFM specialist.. next prenatal appointment isn't until 11/30, ahhh, so far away!

    4. Anything else you'd like to share? Today is my first day med-free, which feels so weird! I'm hoping my butt recovers nicely from the PIO!

QOTW: DH and I recently booked our baby moon to Disney World the last week in January! I'm so excited! We love Disney and knowing we won't want to take our kids there until they are at least 3 or 4 years old, we know this is our last chance to go for awhile. Being pregnant though, you apparently can't/shouldn't eat at a buffet, which is making planning our meal reservations a little challenging!

  • 1. How far along are you and what is your EDD? 11 weeks and 1 day

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Nausea, gagging, exhaustion, round ligament pain, hip pain/dislocation and mood swings.

    3. When is your next appointment? I have my first appointment with my OB on Friday. We wont get to see babies then, but hopefully we will be able to hear the heartbeats through a Doppler.

    4. Anything else you'd like to share? I will be done with progesterone tonight!!! I made it to 9 weeks on the PIO then I started having hives which was causing a lot of discomfort and bleeding when we did the shots so we switched to suppositories at 9 weeks. I am so excited to not have the mess of them and to wake up in the middle of the night to take it since I have to take them 3 times a day.

QOTW: I am not a good traveler when I am not pregnant. I get motion sickness and very anxious when traveling. I took a work trip when I was 4 weeks and I didn't do well on the plane. So, we are not planning any trips while I am pregnant.

  • 1. How far along are you and what is your EDD?  I am 13 +5 today;  EDD is 5/10

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?  Still some fatigue, but it's getting better.  Know what I'm not experiencing yet??  A baby bump!  I gained a whopping 1.5 pounds this trimester, and am soooo ready for a baby bump!  I can feel my uterus if I palpate my lower abdomen while standing up, but no really sticking outedness yet and when I lay down my uterus goes back into hiding and I can't feel it at all.

    3. When is your next appointment?  Not for another 2 weeks--right before Thanksgiving

    4. Anything else you'd like to share?  Definitely getting overwhelmed with all of the things we need to figure out--which brand of bottles and what carseat and all of that.  I wish there was a definitive list of the 'best' things and I could just go off of that, but everything is so opinion based we just have to figure it out for ourselves.  I did find lots of good info on Lucie's list (like Angie's list, but for baby things with reviews/comparisons).

    Travel plans:

We are heading to the San Juan Islands (just a short drive and a ferry ride away from where we live in Seattle) over President's Day in February when I am 28/29 weeks, along with some friends of ours (she is actually starting IUIs in January).  A 5 night stay with lots of sitting around a campfire and sticking our toes in the hot tub, plus maybe kayaking and checking out the beautiful natural areas there.  Very low key.

We did also book our first post-baby trip--we are heading down to the Oregon coast when Little Miss is 3 months old to be in Lincoln City when the total solar eclipse hits.  We booked a house a few blocks off the ocean with lots of privacy and a rooftop deck that has a panoramic view.  I figure this is a good first trip to take--just the three of us in a car (no airplane!), with a house to ourselves and no one to annoy with baby noises or stress out.  Just a short trip to see an astronomical phenomenon and try out the baby travel gear.

  • Can I join in even though I got my BFP while waiting for my next IVF cycle?

    1. How far along are you and what is your EDD?  5w2d, EDD of 7/8/16, just 2 days before my birthday!
    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?  exhaustion, bloating, sore boobies
    3. When is your next appointment?  Had an early ultrasound today that showed the yolk sac and everything measured on schedule. Another ultrasound on the 18th.
    4. Anything else you'd like to share?  The bloating and constipation was so bad last week, but I needed new prenatals for the house, so I picked up a different brand while at whole foods. It has made the difference! Must have been the gummies making symptoms worse.

QOTW: We are going to Asheville for New Year's to get together with all couple's friends. I would love to go on a babymoon and I'm eyeing Palm Springs, CA since I love mid century design and architecture.
  • @mjacks16  Congrats and Welcome!!!! You are more than welcome to join. You went through the struggles we did to get to where you are no matter if your little miracle came between cycles.

  • 1. How far along are you and what is your EDD? 12+3 today, EDD 5/19

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Miraculously the nausea is starting to get a bit better. Havent puked in over a week, though still dont feel perfect and still have significant food aversions. Boobs are still a bit sore. The new discomfort is hip pain, seeing other ladies have struggled w/ the same makes me feel a bit less anxious about it. Fatigue is hard to gauge cause I had a very bad cold last week but still seems to be there.

    3. When is your next appointment? Was supposed to be 11/8 but I went in late last week again for what I thought was spotting (but on cervical exam nothing was there? maybe I'm going nuts). Anyway, baby looked great and I got my harmony blood test, so now no appointment till the first week of Dec which feels eons away... but I'd like to make it at least a couple weeks without seeing the OB for once.

    4. Anything else you'd like to share? Probably my symptoms are improving cause I'm down to one endometrin a day and one diclegis a day. Hoping to be off both within a couple of weeks.

QOTW: We have had a ton of trips already to friend weddings and things. We will be going home for thanksigivng and visiting family for christmas. If we arent travelled out, we're considering a short trip to either northern california or new orleans for a little fancy food and relaxing vacation, perhaps in January. We'll see!
  • @mjacks16 welcome!  Great to see another 'not-technically-fertility-related-pregnancy' surprise person on here!  I totally still identify a bit as a 'success after infertility treatment' person, and I think you fit in here fine.

  • @wifeinraleigh28 I'm gonna lurk here for just a bit but wanted to tell you that Disney World is so awesome as just two adults!! DH and I went in June 2013 for a week for our anniversary and had a blast! I'd definitely recommend getting reservations to the Be Our Guest restaurant at Magic Kingdom. It's such a cool experience! Gaston's Cavern also had very tasty food. Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom was also a favorite! Sci Fi Dine in Theater at Hollywood Studios was a really fun/cutesy experience. If you go to Epcot I'd definitely suggest sharing each food you buy so you can get more types from different countries!

    1. How far along are you and what is your EDD?  7 weeks +2 days  EDD 6/24/17
    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? heartburn, starving all the time, tired, feeling super blah in the morning but wouldn't call it morning sick maybe just over exhaustion
    3. When is your next appointment? Thursday for u/s #2
    4. Anything else you'd like to share? my first post here :)  been lurking for a week or so figured it was time now. Love seeing many of you from IF boards.  At my first u/s last week they found two sacks but only one little bean with a heartbeat the second was like a black hole; completely empty.  This next u/s is to make sure it is absorbing like it should and not causing problems.  I am anxious to share my news on Thanksgiving to the moms.  Its going to be a great day.  Also this time change is a B*tch for both me and the dog :(

QOTW: Where will you be traveling to for your next vacation? Any baby moon plans?  nothing planned yet but I do have a couple weeks of vacation coming up in the early new year and DH is laid off for winter (he is a landscaper) so we might make plans for something.

  • I'm almost fully here, I got my positive HPT, got two strong Beta--204 on 10dp3dt and 553 on 12dp3dt-- so now I'm just waiting for my sono to confirm everything is going as planned.

    1. How far along are you and what is your EDD?
    5 weeks (so early!)

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? I'm really early still, but the exhaustion is REAL! Wow, I can't believe how tired I am. My boobs are sore too! Oh and I am out of breathe easily, anyone else feeling that? I get winded so quickly.

    3. When is your next appointment? I go for my first sonogram on Wednesday. We're looking for a yolk sac. I transferred 2 strong embryos, so I am also wondering if 1 or 2 took. At this point, I'm just hoping for a strong, healthy pregnancy. I don't have the best track record, so I'm nervous!

    4. Anything else you'd like to share? I'm so nervous and so excited all at once. My past is holding me back from fully celebrating, but my gut (and body) feels like this is a god pregnancy! FX

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? SO bloated - I look like I'm about 5 months!
I'm eating constantly to keep on top of the nausea which seems to be working.
    3. When is your next appointment? Last beta tomorrow (21 days PT) and then 2.5 weeks till first scan - SUCH a long time to wait! Oh and meeting a possible midwife on the weekend (I live in New Zealand and we have a midwife that you see through your entire pregnancy, at the birth and until the baby is 6 weeks old). Still have Dr appointments as well, but it's exciting and scary wanting to make a good choice!
    4. Anything else you'd like to share? It's great to see some familiar faces on this side of the forum! :)

We are a long way before we can think about babymoons! My partner is being so cautious - he doesn't want to know anything about what's happening at this stage of pregnancy because he's scared to get excited. He keeps saying it's really good that we got this far and we know we can get this far but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
I know he's right but I can't wait till I can actually be proper excited and not just worried!

  • 1.     How far along are you and what is your EDD? 9w5d | 6/8

    2.      Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having? Still really tired, but that’s about it (hopefully it will stay that way for a while). The RLP seems to have subsided – just in the morning, my hips are pretty stiff

    3.     When is your next appointment? After thanksgiving

    4.     Anything else you'd like to share?

I stop my meds this week!!! Has anyone experienced any changes in symptoms when you stopped them?

@PNW12RN I don’t even know how to feel my uterus. Everyone talks about it but I’m clueless. I get really bloated throughout the day but am also anxious for it to be an actual bump and not just bloat. Also, interesting you mentioned a post baby trip – DH and I were just talking about this last night. He wants to do our normal beach trip this summer, but will only be around 6 weeks after – I think this is way too early.

Welcome to the new ladies!!!!  glad to have you here!!

@Colleen0516 I was also out of breath early on which I thought was odd. But it has gotten better and seems normal.

QOTW: Where will you be traveling to for your next vacation? Any baby moon plans?

No vacation planned and no baby moon planned. I would like to do something, but we are having a hard time deciding. I don’t like to fly in general, so I really don’t want to fly while pregnant. That’s limiting our choices. we are thinking of doing something in Feb/March, so we have time yet.

  • @AandDM2014 Thank you, we are very excited to go just the 2 of us! Last year we went with both sets of parents and while it was fun, we definitely lacked alone time/doing what WE want, haha. Love your restaurant recommendations! I loved Be Our Guest and I'm trying to get a reservation this time too but either they are already full for the end of January (which I feel is unlikely) or reservations aren't open yet. We already have reservations for Yak and Yeti (so excited to try it!) and Chefs de France at Epcot. We ate at the Sci Fi diner last year and it was so fun! Might go there again! Let me know if you have any other recommendations! I'm super bummed that we can't eat at Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace.

@mjacks16 Glad to see you here!! Yes you can join us of course :)

@Colleen0516 Ahhhh, so exciting to see you over here!!! I hope those two little embies are nice and sticky in there for you this time!!

@wifeinraleigh28 I'm pretty sure reservations for Be Our Guest open up 180 days in advance for people staying at a Disney hotel. We weren't, so of course didn't get reservations, but we went on our last day (just a few hours before our flight back home) and just waited in line. We didn't need to do anything else that day as we had already seen everything at MK that we wanted to a previous day, so we went for the sole purpose of waiting in the standby line for lunch. If I think of any other amazing food recs, I'll definitely let you know. I do remember that there was a place in France, L'Artisan des Glaces, that had incredible ice cream and gelato. We ate at Chefs de France for I think lunch one of the days we were there, and it was super yum! Norway had some tasty pastries that we really enjoyed splitting. Liberty Tree Tavern at MK was pretty tasty food too. I'm not a fish person, but their fish and chips were so yum! At AK we ate at Restaurantosaurus, just because of the name. The food was decent, but how could we resist a dino restaurant! You won't be disappointed by Yak and Yeti! I feel like the only other place we ate at HS was The Commissary, and it was pretty standard theme park food. Edit: oh, are you just doing Disney, or are you going to Universal as well? If so, I have some recs for Islands of Adventure.

  • @MelD17011  For me, it's much easier to feel my uterus when standing up (especially easy if your bladder is full!).  Basically, start about 2 inches below your belly button and 'walk' your fingers around, going lower down, pressing pretty firmly.  Your uterus will feel firmer than the rest of your belly, and as you move your fingers around you will be able to feel that that firmness is round--more prominent in the middle and less so on the sides.  Since I am 13+6 right now, it is pretty easy for me to feel now, but I have been able to find my uterus since around week 9.

9 weeks tomorrow. 06/14/17 though w/ twins may be sooner.

    2. Which oh-so-lovely pregnancy symptoms are you having?

Just feeling tired, thats it but its improved in the last week. The nausea I had from weeks 4-8 has gone away. Never had morning sickness. I'm kinda weirded out that I'm now feel "almost" normal(ish).

    3. When is your next appointment?

Just graduated from my RE. It was so surreal knowing that I'm done. I'll see my OB soon. At my last RE appointment we saw the twins again. They are measuring nicely. Heartbeats are on track.

    4. Anything else you'd like to share?

Can't wait to end the meds (next week). Can't wait to tell people. I'm waiting until weeks 12-14 to tell friends & family. I won't do a Facebook announcement - it was hard for me to see others do it during my IF battle. (I know everyone thinks differently on this one).

    5. Vacation Q...

    Still thinking about it.
  • I'm so excited but sooo nervous/anxious!!! And I don't know if it's my nerves or what, but the nausea has set in tonight. I feel queasy! My dinner cooking in the crockpot is not really working for me tonight lol

  • @Colleen0516 COLLEEEEEEEN0516!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! I am BEYOND thrilled for you. I can't imagine anyone more deserving of this wonderful news after all you've been through.

    1. I'm 14w1d, so technically I'm now in the second trimester but just missed the cutoff for changing boards this week.

    2. Which is really just as well because I'm still feeling 1st-trimester-gross--this past week was the worst week so far. I'm ready for that 2nd trimester magic ANYTIME NOW, BODY! Headaches bordering on migraines, vomiting, and a new symptom of itching all over, omg. Especially on my lower belly and around my breasts. I am now covered in tiny welts from irritation and scratching.

    3. Everything I've read suggests this is normal and will go away on its own, so I'm probably going to wait until my next appointment, this coming Monday, to bring it up, though I may cave and call the advice nurse. I'll be almost 15 weeks and I think it will be the first appointment without an ultrasound :(

QOTW: We're going to a little spa-resort in the middle of nowhere in Carmel Valley (in Northern California). I figured that would fit all the possibilities of my symptoms and energy levels: if I'm not feeling great I can stick to the spa or even just the room with soaking tub and fireplace; if I'm feeling more energetic Monterey is nearby and we can go to the aquarium, etc; if I'm feeling super energetic there is some beautiful mountain hiking.

  • @Colleen0516 I'm so happy to see you over on this side!  Best of luck that all continues to progress on track for a happy and healthy 9 months.
  • Huge congrats on the twins @Colleen0516!!! I have learned to take things day by day as well. TODAY we are pregnant and we love our babies!!!

  • @nellin oh no, try not to worry just yet. Did they do an ultrasound to see if the sac is still there and the lining is still thick?

  • @Nellin I'm sorry about the spotting. I actually just started having some myself (story below). My doctor today said that spotting is completely normal unless you are filling up a pad in 45 minutes. Did your doctor get you in for an ultrasound for peace of mind?

AFM, I had a rough night last night. I noticed some light spotting right before I left work yesterday at 6:30. I freaked out because I just stopped my PIO on Sunday, so I was worried that something bad was happening. I called my OB office and spoke to the on call doctor and she did ease my mind a little. She said it's normal to spot after stopping progesterone and that spotting during the first tri is normal anyway. She said to only go to the ER if it gets heavy like a period, but otherwise she said if I need peace of mind to call the office in the morning and schedule an appointment. I was actually still spotting slightly this morning so I called as soon as the office opened and was able to be seen at 9:30. Everything looked perfect, we heard the HB again, and my baby was measuring 10w 5d which is exactly what I am, so I feel relieved. I'm pushing this out of my mind now and just trying to relax.

Thanks, no scan yet, at this stage I still have to wait 2 weeks till my first scan! I wish they scanned earlier here but 7 weeks is the earliest unless they are worried an ectopic pregnancy.
It really is just spotting and mild cramps if I exercise or stand up for too long so I am being a total sloth!

  • Lurking from 2nd Tri ...@Colleen0516@Nellin and @wifeinraleigh28 just wanted to let you know that a lot of ladies on this board have had bleeding and spotting at some stage in their first trimester. No one can take away the fear that you feel, but I hope it helps to hear that many of us have gone through this and continued a healthy pregnancy. My RE said it is absolutely normal to be spotting in first trimester and to not worry unless it's heavy bleeding.
    Thinking of you lovely ladies

  • Mine tapered off to just brown, old blood. I felt like I pushed myself a little too much yesterday. I feel like the spotting confirmed it. I plan on taking it easy this weekend. Hoping it goes away all together.

    @nellin and @wifeinraleigh28 how aren't you doing?

Thank you for the support ladies @flanners1 and @Colleen0516! My spotting seems to be just about gone now... very occasionally I can barely see something when I wipe but for the most part I see nothing. I'm starting to relax about it now. I also felt better when my sister called me yesterday (after hearing from my mom that I freaked out... news travels fast in my family lol) to tell me that she had a full, heavy period when she was 10 weeks pregnant, went to the ER thinking she was miscarrying and everything was fine. My nephew is 3 1/2 now.

@Colleen0516 Your spotting really sounds like what my doctor (and the internet) are describing as "normal" so I feel pretty confident that your little nuggets are just fine!! I know how hard it is to relax though after all that we go through.

@Nellin My RE wouldn't do my first ultrasound until 7 weeks as well. I think that's pretty normal. Hang in there, I know the wait is excruciating!!
