Congrats to any TTGP grads this week, our fingers are crossed!
This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but does allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button to indicate "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short&sweet notes. Questions as well as longer personal congratulatory notes can be posted in the thread.
Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum as these rules can be subject to opinion. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing). Remember: this thread is not a tribunal. Continued arguments and defenses about a post have no place here and are considered off-topic. If you would like to make an argument for or against a rule, please create or update a META thread to discuss.

CD/DPO of first BFP? 24/8
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3 with 2 NTNP prior
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU? Sex ED in FW, OPKs, PNV, temping & charting
How was your timing? -4, -3, -2, -1, O, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
I was almost hyper aware of everything that I felt right after Ovulation. I didn't want to get my hopes up.
CD3-5 mild dull cramps below belly button. I also got a cold and was extremely stuffed up.
CD6- a tingly feeling in lower abdomen. EXHAUSTED. Like could barely function.
CD7- EXHAUSTED again.
CD8- "full" feeling in lower abdomen. Just felt off. Super super tired around 2PM today. For some reason I though I needed to test, so I did this afternoon. I got 2 faint, but definitely noticeable, no squinters.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
I got a onesie a few months back that says "guess what". I had that waiting for him after work!
Anything else to add?
I am beyond shocked. I was certain I was out for the month. I thought 8DPO and was skeptical until I got a second confirmation. I am SO grateful to all of you who took the time to answer my questions. If I didn't join this board, I fully believe I would not be pregnant. I wish everyone here good luck and hope to see you all in July 2017 BMB❤️
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3 (hadn't realized I rolled over into another month)
What did your chart look like?
Honestly, I didn't think it looked great. My coverline this cycle was way lower than prior cycles and I had a slow rise this month. Not saying that meant something special (I thought the opposite), but it was definitely different for me. I also turned an OPK the day FF said I O'd so that was new.
What were you doing TGKU? FF, BBT, CP/CM, OPKs, PNV (for the last 4 years), and HIO in FW --- I tried green tea but always forgot to drink it and bought Vitex but never took it.
How was your timing? -2, -1, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I have a lot of syptoms that resemble AF so this is hard to differentiate. I've had cramps since like 3 DPO (nothing new), and have been tired (again, nothing new). I did have rediculously severe back pain on 5 and 6 DPO (worse than normal) and my blood sugars have been going low way more often than normal (T1 Diabetic). I've also had a pretty constant dull headache the last 3 days but that could certainly also be stress and/or a cold. Also, fertile CM continued into DPO and hasn't stop.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? **Tried to add spoiler but I fail this early in the morning**
I was never planning on anything "cute" but I was shopping for someone else's kid and saw an adorable little onesie that said "Daddys Little Buddy". I tested in the evening of 10 DPO expecting a solid BFN (didn't test that AM bc I was super sad that morning and thought it would make me feel much more discouraged). Anyways, I tested and got a faint but definitive BFP! I had already tossed my sample (since I was convinced it would be BFN) so I couldn't check with another test. I ran downstairs to tell him but turned around at the bottom of the stairs and ran back up (bc I had to check the test again!!). I grabbed the onesie I bought and went back down and handed it to him.
DH: Who's that for?
Me: **smiles** I'm pregnant
DH: Really?!!
**we hugged and I cried**
DH: Congratulations!! When do we start getting really excited?
We talked about it being early and having to discuss it with my job (work with chemical and machines not safe for pregnancy). Then when I came home yesterday, he told me how excited he is and how he dreamt about our baby. I know he was super nervous when we decided to start trying so it makes me teary eyed every time I think about how excited he already is.
Anything else to add? I know it's said often, but this community rocks! I've participated quite a bit but work limited me but know that I read nearly every thread from the start. I would certainly have missed O numerous times and have been so less educated at his point if it weren't for you ladies!!! I never realized before that I could actually miss a bunch of Internet strangers but even the last 2 days of not posting bummed me out a bit. I will likely keep lurking (bc man, serious, I like you ladies a lot!) and hope to see many of you in the BMBs soon.
Edit: spoiler fail and I can't fix it -- mobile bumping is hard yo.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3 (1 NTNP)
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU? FF, CP/CM, temping, OPKs, PNVs. I also tried to exercise regularly, and have made it a point to eat really healthy: Most of my diet comes from fruits and vegetables, followed by nuts and seeds, then lean meats.
How was your timing? -3, -1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I had actually attributed a lot of my symptoms to PMS and being on a stretch of night shifts. The first time that I really suspected that maybe being KU was a possibility was last night at work: I had very strange back discomfort and a cramping feeling in my lower abdomen that was unlike my cramping before AF. The part of my brain that uses science and logic to keep the crazy symptom-spotting at bay tried to write it off as early symptoms of a UTI, until I realized that I actually had no urinary symptoms whatsoever.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? He was at school when I got a BFP on WonFo. I ran to the store and got a FRER, which was also positive. I came home, made him his favorite cake, wrote my EDD on it in icing, and showed it to him when he got home. He said, "what're these numbers?" when I showed him. I told him that it was my due date and then I started crying a little bit. He smiled and gave me a hug... I could tell that he was happy, but shocked and a little overwhelmed at the same time. He had a lot of questions about what to expect next.
Anything else to add? I wasn't here for terribly long, so I wasn't sure if I should post in this thread as a result. But I wanted to say how fabulous every single one of you is and how great of a place this is. This is such a lovely community, and it's been such a pleasure talking to intelligent, scientifically-minded women who are in a similar boat. From the bottom of my heart I wish you all the best.
