Probably posting and ghosting until later this afternoon because of my schedule today, so here goes

R/R: I tested today even though its early since today I am dealing with chemotherapy drugs, a lot of isoflurane (anesthetic inhalant drug) and x-rays, so I figured I would wanna know so I could maybe bail. At 9 DPO I didn't expect a positive, even if I am pregnant, but dammit...I was hopeful. But its monday, so fuck me, right?

CS/Q:

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why?

I would move into the show Scrubs. I could still do doctory things, even if they are on disgusting humans and not wonderful dogs and cats, and hang out with Turk every day.

my current obsession is with the Gilmore Girls so I'll stick with that right now! I'm on season 6 and I can't stop watching

R/R: I am so excited to actually ovulate!! My last cycle was 110 days and I never ovulated so I don't count it in my month/cycle count. I was really worried this cycle would be like that too.

Friends. I've always loved that show. They seemed so close and like they just got to hang out all the time and only sometimes work. That would be nice!

Testing: Negative today going to try to hold out until Wednesday, but let's face it I'll probably POAS again tomorrow morning. I hate literally peeing on all my money, but the idea of knowing one days sooner keeps bringing me back.

R/R: Trying to stay positive and remind myself that 11 DPO is still early and I'm not out until AF shows up. Trying even harder to not SS, but it's hard when you know that these are not your normal PMS symptoms (I know they can change so trying to remember that as well).

@Marley629 I love Gilmore Girls! I can't wait for the Netflix show to come out

I would say probably something retro or historical like MadMen or Downton Abbey. I love the costumes!

CS/Q:  I took my temp this morning, but I don't know what to make of it since I didnt temp Saturday or Sunday because we were out of town, and I also took it at 6:30 instead of my usual 5:30.  Now I'm sure I'll just drive myself crazy trying to analyze it. 

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why? Nashville. Even though I'm a horrible singer, I would love to get dressed up, get my hair and make up done, hold a sparkly microphone and sing all night.

CS/Q: I had a nice temp increase this morning, but as we all know, one temp doesn't tell you squat!

I'm going to second @mrs35 and say friends! They were always doing fun stuff and lived a pretty sweet lifestyle.

R/R: just wanted to say that I'm loving this board and getting a lot of great insight into tcc. I thought I was a natural fertility pro but I've def been schooled.

@kiwi2638 Scrubs is pretty accurate about working in a hospital. I'm a physical therapist and always have fans pointed in my direction But seriously- I want Turk as a bff, too.

@Kariann323 SS is soooo hard not to do! I swear my body creates symptoms just to play with me. I'm trying to hold out till after my period is late- but will probably buy another test on my way home from work

R/R: I think my bitchy spell is over which I am sure DH appreciates. We are heading for a hike today. I only work a couple of hours this afternoon. Fresh air is just what I need. I'm big time symptom spotting. I didn't temp so really not sure of my day of ovulation. Just going by CP and CM which I know isn't a solid way but I did have O cramps. We have BD EOD as the doc recommended. I'm just going to try and relax and "go with the flow".

Probably Heartland as my dream was always to operate a equine training facility.

I was MIA all weekend due to travel and illness, but there's no better way to start a Monday morning than with a little bumpin'.

R/R: After spending most of Friday and Saturday extremely nauseated and spending all day yesterday vomiting uncontrollably, I am feeling a little better this morning. So small blessings. Here's to hoping I can keep everything down today!

My immediate reaction would be to say Grey's Anatomy because it is one of my fav TV shows of all time but Shondra keeps killing everyone off..... Not sure if I would be safe lol

R/R: Happy Monday everyone!! Not much to rant or rave about yet today. I got to work pretty early this morning so I already feel I'm off to a good start. Also trying to ignore the amount of caffeine I've consumed since Friday. I'm not a big coffee drinker normally, but with DH and I being out of town this weekend, we tried a lot of cool local places and I probably drank at least one a day. I was reading up on something about caffeine and conception and kinda got myself worked up over it, yet here I am sipping my Starbucks cold brew. This is our first cycle truly "trying" so Im trying to take it easy on the SS and BSC google searches for now. I'm honestly just happy to know I ovulated. Its been so cool to record my temps and see a little bit of what my body is actually up to. 

CS/Q: Temps still up, luteal phase is looking good so far. 

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why?
The Office. It's my favorite show of all time and I feel like I could fit in with the characters so well.

@FLAshley it might help ease your stress and/or SS if you temp up to O and then stop. That way you'd know when O was and have some idea of how your timing was for the month. I know in past cycles when I wasn't temping, I would be worried and SS the whole time during the TWW because I had no idea what my body was doing or where I was in my cycle.

@DsMom I am a PT as well! I work with pediatrics... used to be in a hospital setting but now I am in a school!! Do you work in a hospital?

Testing: "I won't test until AF is late" yeah right- tested this morning, BFN.

R/R: THis was a jumbled cycle for me, DH was sick during FW, there is a good chance we missed FW all together YET the BSC SS happened. I was trying so hard to stay realistic then I had these pains I never had before 8DPO and my breasts were itchy beyond belief and my gums were bleeding more. But really what happened is I started a new workout routine, had dry skin, changed my sonic care head. Its crazy what we can make ourselves believe despite being intelligent women. I am having a real tough TTC day and if I get started on all of it then I will have a slippery self pity slope..... all the wine please.

CS/Q: nope, pretty big dip this morning tomorrow or Wednesday for AF is my guess

@dsmom @mommytom13 it's the worst! *TW* my bff is 7 months with #5 (it's like her husband looks at her and she gets ku). *TW End* I was telling her what's going on (sore bbs, lower back pain, ALL the naps, vivid dreams, etc) and she's like omg you're ku. It's like really don't say that it just makes me SS more!

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why? This is probably a FFFC but I would live the life of a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member for a week; just to see what its like to live that lavish lifestyle. I'm sure after a week I would miss my life...

I agree with temping, but not stopping after O because it does help with setting expecations. A temp drop is how I know my period is coming and that the spotting I'm having is not the spotting that is common in early pregnancy. That keeps me from being hopeful and then horribly disappointed. As with all temping, you just have to stop yourself from looking at individual temps as a sign of anything (e.g. a random temp dip at 6dpo does not mean you implanted, and a temp rise one day does not mean you're going triphasic), with the exception of a temp drop around 12/13 DPO, whatever is normal for you (for me it's 12).

Also, regarding caffeine, I asked my RE about it and he said the typical "We actually don't know for sure" but he said under 200mg a day is generally acceptable. One or two cups of coffee is ok, just not five or six. And he nixed my 5-Hour Energies. Jerk.

CS/Q: Im going to post my chart.  I had a HUGE temp drop yesterday (as I posted in TWW sunday), and I am a bit confused.  I usually get some mini drop around now, but I have never fallen below coverline, or had it mess with my O date on FF.  I went back up today, BUT Im still not as high as I usually am at this time.  I would love some insight, and im wondering about the fallback-rise that some of you talk about, is it good? bad? thoughts? thank you all in advance, and Ill be on throughout today so Ill be able to answer questions!

If it was a Book, I would have to go with Harry Potter!  I would love to have my letter to Hogwarts!  For TV I would have to go with Gilmore Girls.  I would love to live in stars hollow and be friends with them all!

@kariAnn323 Sorry about the BFN. My SS have been offside the last couple of days. I've also had crazy vivid dreams the last couple of days,  along with a ton of other SS, but I'll save myself the embarrassement

@littlebug2010  It's normal to get a dip early in the TWW and it usually means nothing (especially at 4dpo, since that would be too early for implantation). As long as your temps are back up above coverline, you're fine.

@britters314 Thank you!  Ive had small dips before, but none like this.  It actually moved my O date and pushed my coverline down yesterday.  The temp today moved it back to what it was before that temp, and Im sure I O'd when FF says, so It was worrying.  Thanks for the confidence boost.

CS/Q: If I get two more high temps at/above today's temp, FF moves my O date to yesterday which makes a LOT more sense to me based on: the positive OPKs (surge lasted 36-48 hrs), CP/CM (although I never got EWCM... ugh), EPIC ovulatory pain on Saturday, and a coverline that actually covers my phase 1 temps. So tomorrow I might change have to change the above  to 2 DPO, which just prolongs the wait, but doesn't change much otherwise I suppose. Opinions welcome

Wow, this post is active today!  It seemed almost dead at the end of last week. I can't keep up right now so I'll be back later for comments.

Testing: Tested again this morning and another BFN. 

R/R: Still sick and not taking any medicine in case I happen to be KUd (this, why I'm testing now). I of course think I am since my face normally breaks out a few days before AF and hasn't yet. The only times that doesn't happen is when I was on BCP or KUd.  But I doubt I am and then I'll be sad both because I'm not and because I could be taking medicine and feeling better. 


CS/Q: Not really a question.  Last month my temps did a steady decline from 10DPO until AF showed. This month I'm so up and down so who knows. Sickness probably isn't helping. 

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why?
Probably a big UO here. I'm going with a children's show, "Sid the Science Kid."  Everyone is always so happy and optimistic. Nothing bad ever happens.  Plus they get to do all these science experiments which are fun! The only thing is I wouldn't want their annoying voices

@FLAshley I'll put in another vote for temping til O. I know for me doing it during the TWW would make me CRAZY and stressed, but I can't tell you how nice it is to know for sure that you O'ed.

R/R: I was VERY skeptical about temping, but I have to admit, I'm SO happy I know when I O'ed! Even more excitingly, I'm heading to San Francisco to visit my best friend this morning!

CS/Q: *TW* I entered in my past several months of data to FF. In May, I got KU, but in June, I had a MMC/D&C. I didn't get AF again until the end of July. FF shows that time as a 90 day cycle and now it has my average cycle length at 40, when, aside from the loss, the longest cycle I've ever had is 28 days. Should I just delete all the pre-MC cycles? Is there any other way to get that one cycle not included? *End TW*

GTKY: If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be and why? Low-key, I already live in 30 Rock, but I'm gonna say Clueless, my favorite movie, if mostly for the clothes and houses!

Yeah, I think you're right, it'll change to Sunday, most likely, depending on when you typically O after a +OPK.

@littlebug2010 Like @britters314 said, one temp dip isn't anything to worry about. Any number of things could have affected it. A fallback rise isn't good or bad, it just is.

 @eggplantface @antotoSo..... I just tried inputting false highs over the next few days to test it out ("just one more time! just to see!") and sure enough CH moved to Sunday. But then I deleted the false temps and... it won't move back (despite there only being 1 high temp post O). WHATEVER. I'll just say I O'd yesterday and MOVE ON with my life?
