Hi Guys! I didn't see a thread on this and hope its ok that I start one!

Halloween is right around the corner!

What are your plans for Halloween? Are you staying in or taking your baby out? Have you purchased your baby's costume yet? If so, what are they going to be and are you doing a theme?

I purchased Ava's costume from Carters early last month! She's going to be a monkey. DH and I will dress up with her and do a theme. We plan on taking her trick or treating with her big sister!!

AJ has the Pottery Barn shark costume. DH and I will also be sharks. We are going to a Halloween party on Saturday and will be bringing LO. Not sure about trick or treating (as he can't enjoy any of it)

@ftm53 I just googled that costume! So cute!!!!

If it wasn't for her big sister (who is 12) we wouldn't go trick or treating. I plan on buying mosquito netting to put on her stroller. Our zoo has an event on the 29th we plan on going to which should be nice. The kids go dressed up in their costumes.

I picked my son up a costume at the thrift store. We aren't going out but I thought it would be cute for our daily errands lol.

I bought her some little monster jammies from baby gap. Figure she'll get use out of them for the duration of the season since they're not super Halloween like. We love to pass out candy in our neighborhood so I'll probably wear her in the ergo as long as she's willing to stay up. These days that's only until about 7-8! Oh I also got her a 1st Halloween bib, haha!!

I want to dress him as a municipal worker but my husband thinks it's silly.

My dad, brother, husband, his brother and I all work for our city in the same department. My H and I met at work and we joke about our son growing up and working for the city. My building puts together a Halloween backdrop for photos and I really want to dress him in one of my old work shirts, jeans and "steel toe" boots just for the photos. I think our respective coworkers would get a kick out of it.

I was given cupcake costumes in my Buy Nothing group for DD1 (2 1/2) and DD2. We will go up and down our street trick or treating (21 house). We have a 1st birthday party to go to in the 30th that they will wear their costumes to as well. I'm excited!

Jaxon got a monkey zip-up coverall thing with a tail and ears from someone my boyfriend works with. It was her sons and gently used. It's still cute though. Probably put that on him if it gets chilly enough. It was 85 today. Whew. We aren't going anywhere so probably just going to post pictures like an AW.

My cousin bought LO his Stitch costume before he was born so I can't wait to put it on him! Not sure when trick or treat night is in our township (PA is weird and has them on different nights

I plan on taking him out as it's mommy's excuse to get candy

I also bought LO "my first Halloween" jammies and a "my first Halloween" onesie. He's been wearing the jammies all month and will wesr the onesie to daycare on Halloween (since I don't think he'll go for 8 hours in his costume)

We will be on a flight to California to visit my parents so I plan on putting on this black kitty halloween onesie that a friend gave her. That night she will be a butterfly and I'll take her and her cousins trick or treating. My husband and I have a hocus pocus 5k run on Saturday and we're going to dress her up as Minnie Mouse. We tried it on last night and it's perfect.

I have a build-a-bear in a pumpkin outfit and it looks like it will fit her perfectly, haha! We are going to go trick or treating with my SIL and her kids

M has a strawberry costume. She wore it to an event at BRU. That's the (boring) extent of her first
Halloween. I think she's happy to never wear it again.

No plans for trick or treating, but we may walk around the neighborhood with her initially before we head back to our house to give out candy.

She is going to be Tigger! (She has a Winnie the Pooh nursery so it seemed fitting)

Here's Layla's super festive Halloween costume this year, haha!! I've named it little monster. Did a dry run in it last night. Yep, it fits!

I'll throw a bow on her for added decoration Halloween night.

Our trick or treat is tomorrow so we'll pass out candy. We may take a little stroll to see some neighbors & family that live in town if the weather is nice too.
