I finally got my Mexican fix today - DH asked for chili for dinner tonight so that happened. Ground turkey and chorizo plus tomato sauce, chicken stock, and all my taco making spices simmered for just half an hour. One of my easier dinners!
when I worked at the waldorf they had the most AMAZING blt! You could literally smell it under the cloche. It had avocado and egg and some kind of fancy mayo it was simply divine.
Chocolate mint girl guide cookies. I was on a mission to find some the other night and I'm so happy I did. My appetite still hasn't recovered from first tri, so if I get a cravings I all over it
Buffalo chicken wraps over here, too - pretty much anything with hot sauce. Still on a major grapefruit kick, too. Obsessed with carrots with veggie ranch dressing, and beets with pasteurized goat's cheese. And apple everything. Hot apple cider.......I need it now.
All I want recently is fruit - mainly apples. I can't get enough. Saturday I ate an apple....then 30 seconds later decided that wasn't enough and ate another one!
@southpawjen we bought a big bag of apples from Sam's club a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I ate one every day! It's such a refreshing snack though. I need to get more.

I started buying a ton of fruit, cutting it all up and separating them by days and packaging them so that I could grab them quickly for a mid-morning snack for work. Also, it prevents me from eating it all at once. Pineapple, grapes, strawberries, mango, blackberries, and blueberries. Yummmm. I'm gonna go eat some now.
Also, last night I had the in-laws over for dinner and made a cheesecake for dessert. Then, I made THE most delicious strawberry sauce to drizzle on top. My FIL practically drenched his piece of cheesecake in it. I think he would have eaten it by the spoonful if he thought it was appropriate.
I'm absolutely craving Wright's Chicken Farm right now. For those that don't know, its a restaurant that serves all you can eat chicken, pasta, french fries, salad, and rolls. That's it. Limited menu, but it's so yummy.
However, they are only open Thurs - Sun. So I can't have any right now
Made plans with a friend to go on Thursday though. DH thinks I'm adorable.
I am really into cream cheese and salsa lately so over the weekend I took turns dipping pretzels in cream cheese and then in salsa. It was so weird but so good.
Any Tasty or Delish video I see on FB I am cooking it . My sons and Hubby are so happy I am no longer in the nausea tired phase, they finally get to eat!
My work had free lunch today for all the employees in my department and it was soooooo good....I had fried chicken, greens, corn on the cob, vegetarian lasagna, mac and cheese and apple cobbler. I am one happy pregnant woman right now.
Is anyone unable to eat pasta? I've had it 3x now & 2x spent the entire night running to the bathroom. Horrible gas pains. It's not the sauce, as both times I've had the sauce on sandwiches or pizza without incident. I've had no morning sickness this entire pregnancy. Interestingly, the other time I had handmade pasta - no such issues. Not the vegetables as peas & greenbeans have been staples (um I crave these green veggies often).
I guess my body is craving pasta, however, it's not going to happen! No issues with potatoes or rice or bread. What gives I love soaghetti & meatballs, penne & vodka sauce. Booo.
bagels and cream cheese for breakfast, mac and cheese for lunch. Today I made banana bread for the weekend, house smells good. And tomorrow is Shrimp and grits.
I made a large pot of soup, white beans, chicken sausage, potatoes and Kale... OMG! It was soooooo good. I have to remember though that my sons don't have the same cravings I do. So it will be me and this soup all weekend.
This long weekend has been great on the food front. I FINALLY got both my Chinese food fix and went out for sushi!! Plus : greasy fried food at the fair today. All is right in the world.
...my stomach will most likely be in ruins tomorrow... but, for now, it was worth it.
I found an open bag of hot cheetos in my car, which means they were from before my bpf. And I ate them. And they were delicious. I should be ashamed!
I'm mostly craving random things - like yahoo and hot pockets. But since I'm really trying to really pay attention and enjoy this pregnancy I'm indulging! It's been very fun!
Sad story. I was hardcore craving a pretzel from Auntie Anne's, so I left work to run to the mall to get one and the STORE WAS GONE. All anyone said was it was closed. Even though it still says it's open online. The next nearest one is an hour and a half away. I almost staged a sit-in.

Indian food. Saag paneer is my new jam (basically creamed spicy spinach). I had it 2x this week since I had two late workdays and decided I needed it. Naan bread.... sooooooo good.
@jenny0228 yes all the Indian food!! I usually get extra spicy though and that was one of the things I had to sadly give up first. Can't do the extra spicy anymore, just regular spicy (thanks baby)
