My bosses are being TWs today.  I asked one what she would do in a particular situation, we discussed and formed a plan of action. Today, a different boss comes in to talk about the same issue (he didn't know we had already addressed it) and then proceeds to give me a lecture on why he would have handled it differently. Look, I get it, different people will do things differently, but come on, I didn't make this call; I just executed!

ETA:  Generally my bosses are fabulous, so I really shouldn't complain, but hey, no one else has annoyed me today so this is all I've got!
  • The president of our city's Park Board just asked me to write a grant for them. No biggie, it's a small, easy grant. But it's due THURSDAY. Thank god this is a tiny town. I'm pretty sure my organization is going to have to start charging low hourly rates for chamber members who use me to write grants, business plans, etc.
  • My neighbor is a TW! He apparently thinks the entire neighborhood wants to hear his music...it's so loud I can hear it in the house with doors and windows closed and the tv on!!!!

  • @maebee87 Oh no he didn't! That is absolutely ridiculous! Everyone knows teachers get dehydrated because we can't go to the bathroom whenever we want. Hell, I even get migraines and bloody noses from not drinking enough during the school year. There is no way you can be written up for that, so drink away!! I was just going to complain that our principal doesn't care when the copiers / printers don't work because she believes our 8-11 year olds should be doing everything on a computer. What exactly are we supposed to do when the internet goes down then?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @GlitterFish I understand the feeling. I was active duty for 6 years and worked at a gov agency during that time. I started contracting (in the same building even!) after I got out. People I knew for years started ignore me right after I became a contractor. They treat us terribly. It gets frustrating because we're all on the same side! I almost got fired earlier this year because someone made a false report against me. There was no truth to it at all, but just because I'm a contractor they didn't like the "blemish" on the record. I was "temporary fired" instead (their words...) Ugh.

@MommytoM13 that sounds awful. Good luck to you in moving forward and dealing with that.

@maebee87 what?!?! That's awful! I can't believe that he would say that.

To everyone else, I want to reply but my husband is giving me the angry stare because he wants to start the movie we rented... I shall return.
  • @AnnieLovesPups and @NYTino24 Thanks for the support on my H20 needs!
Also @NYTino24 Principals are so clueless sometimes. Like, give your head a shake.

  • @BusinessWife yeah, your doctor needs to get it together. I HATE when doctors offices are slow and don't call when they say they will.
@MommytoM13  wowwwwww your ex seems like a real piece of work. FX this mess gets all sorted out soon.

I have so many TWs today.
    1. My doctors office was supposed to call with the results from my bloodwork today. They did not. Which I'm only assuming means that I'm not KU.
    2. 99% of the people I work with, my student athletes and their parents. Just everyone. No one is acting like they have any sense.

  • Oh I have a few today.
    1) Myself, for massively messing up payroll because of something that slipped through the cracks.  It's not a huge deal, it'll be fixed tomorrow, but dayum, self.  I spent most the day fighting with that.
    2) Whoever stole my credit card number.  While I was dealing with the aforementioned poop storm, I got a call that my credit card number was stolen and I had fraudulent charges.
    3) Someone in my condo had a gas leak, so today they pulled out all our gas appliances and everything will be out of commission for 3 days while they bring everything up to whatever it should be. Oh, it's at our cost.
    4) Whoever got DH sick.  The man flu is real.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI,
then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.

Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
