I am 31 weeks and I switched to Women For Women about 2 months ago. I haven't been super thrilled with the practice so far. I am wondering if anyone on here has delivered at Lankenau (in PA) using this practice and if they wanted to share their experience. Seems like everyone has C sections there!
No one really checks this board and not sure if your planning on checking back in, but FWIW, the state of PA has a 30.5% rate of c-sections, . Lankenau is pretty high at 41.8%. I am delivering a Pennsylvania Hospital which has a lower rate at 31.3%, but it's probably more about your doctor. For example, my doctor is in a multi-doctor practice and one of the doctors has an abnormally high c-section rate, but my doctor's rate is pretty low.
The lowest rate of c-sections in the area goes to Chestnut Hill at 23.5%, but really talk to your doctor about their individual percentages, that should be a main deciding factor!
