Re: Weekend Randoms
You know you're TTC when: your brother asks you to babysit in September for a weekend (in another town, DH can't make it) and you first check FF to make sure that won't fall during FW and ruin chances for the month.

Also, my DS will be one on the 30th, and we're having his birthday party tomorrow, so I'm heading home to scramble about making decorations and food. It's a Where the Wild Things Are theme, and I'm super excited about it!
@Scarlett830 what an adorable theme! I love that book!
This is the first Friday my husband and I have had no plans in months. He's in the kitchen making us quesadillas and I'm on the couch drinking some seasonal (a little too early) beer.

Eta sorry if photo is enormous. Mobile bumping drunk is hard.
Right now I'm sitting at my desk playing clash of clans and eating oreos that I was going to take home to my H. Tomorrow I'm going to get a massage and pedicure that I'm super excited for because I want it so bad, and then Sunday I'm going to a family brunch and I have no idea what to make. Anyone have easy brunch food ideas?

@ratparade Try something in the crockpot! You can make a breakfast casserole or a super simple dessert. One that I swear by..
eggs, shredded potato, peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese. Put everything in a buttered crockpot and cook.
I'm running a half marathon tomorrow morning with my little brother. I fully intend to eat all the food after and probably drink all the Mike's.

Then DH and I are doing a super movie date night. Secret Life of Pets followed by Star Trek then a late Thai dinner.
TTC since August 2018
All you drinkers, I'll be joining you soon..
Right now I'm just trying to cool off after my run (why I decided to go out in like 156% humidity Idk) and wait for DH to get home from out of town. Gonna see if I can talk him into take out for dinner cuz I've eaten the same thing everyday for 3 days now
Gotta head into work tomorrow to finish getting stuff ready for school to start on Monday...
The first of many Saturdays at work to come...
When I got home MH immediately started to bitch about his job. Which makes me uber nervous and stressed, so thanks for that babe. Now he's grilling us wings. Yum!!
I also organized all of the gazillion packages of medicines/needles that I got yesterday. Inventory is my thang.
I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow. Then I'll probably grocery shop because MH has to work. I'm also going to pop into Barnes & Nobles to pick up the third book in a Nora Robert's trilogy I'm reading. We're going to Virginia Beach on Thursday and I know I'll probably blow through the second book pretty fast in the car, it's a 8.5 hour ride. So I'll need backups!
Which has led me to my current mood in life..
Oh well. Lol. Hoping to spend countless hours in front of my xbox when i get home though. Or if DH holds up to his promise of being wrapped up in the bedroom just for fun for the afternoon would be acceptable too.

@mrsdaddario YAY for vacation!!! Enjoy all the free time
@GrabberBlue2010 So lame you have to work. I hope you at the very least get some sweet OT!
Tonight, DH and I are traveling 2 hours to my parents home town to pick up my 17 year old brother and drive the 2 hours back so he can make his 2am plane to Seattle (brother's truck is too sketchy to make the journey and he has been at the house by himself since the middle of June since the rest of my family is down in Seattle for my dad's stem cell transplant).
Tomorrow, DH and I are going four wheeling all day for a "Wheeling For Warriors" thang, then to a party at a friend's to see people we haven't seen in a long time.
Sunday will be:
...perhaps with a pit stop of putting the final coat of paint in the kitchen so it's finally done.
I got exhausted just typing that. Good times.
We don't have much planned this weekend since next weekend will be pretty busy. I'm hoping I can get DH to finish our Pinterest projects that have been half done in the basement for MONTHS. Lol
@beary67 Can I tell you how happy it makes me that were both on the seasonal pumpkin train already?! I seriously you!
@mrsdaddario Vacation!!!! Yes. Enjoy VA beach. I've gone every year for the last three years. This is the first i'm not making it down Take some pictures for me?!
I just got home from bingo with a large set of the in laws where I was questioned about Zika and my future plans for childcare for my currently non-existent child. Let the MIL knowing we're TTC nonsense begin.
As for the rest of the weekend? I plan to do nothing. DH works both days. If I can Netflix / read all day tomorrow and Sunday I'll be in heaven.

I just woke up a half hour ago. Which is so not me to sleep so late. But I've been sleeping like 12 hour nights lately. Which is not unusual for someone with MS, I need tons of sleep. But I usually go to bed early and get up early. Nope. Went to bed early, woke up late lol. But then it made sense because I woke up to AF. Which is good in two ways, and bad because well...its AF lol. I was supposed to bring MH lunch because he's working today, but he just texted me and told me he's getting out early so I don't have too. Which I'm pumped about because I can remain being lazy for a while. I did make it from the bed to the couch though. So that's an accomplishment.
I'm laying in bed while DH is working out. We are meeting his entire family at a BBQ place at 11:30 for lunch.... yea... Not my idea of deliciois, but, ugh. Cousin with 3 Month old infant will be there, who I will proceed to hold because baby. And then cue all the "when will you guys have a baby" comments. I think I'm really going to take some advice and just calmly say that we have 2 that are no longer with us. That makes me feel the best, and acknowledging it myself is comforting.
Tonight is game night with our small group. I hope my favorite friends can come since he broke his leg and had surgery 2 weeks ago and is doing the wheelchair thang.
Tomorrow I will have lunch with one of my friends who moved about 45 minutes away so I no longer get to see her frequently.

@Sugargirl1019 I really do think that is the perfect thing to say. I've found that acknowledging my loss is really important to me as well. I don't want to have to brush it aside and say "Oh I don't know" or some BS answer like that. A big part of the reason we told the in-laws about my loss is that I couldn't stand pretending that I didn't have a baby who didn't stay. And if that's too much for other people to hear, idgaf, because their delicate psyche's don't trump the physical and emotional pain that I suffered.
End TW. Sorry for ranting about @Sugargirl1019, but seriously, I hope this day goes as smoothly as possible for you. And if anything about your reproductive system is brought up, do what makes YOU feel best. And we'll be here if you need us!
