Gonna get this in early cause I don't know when I will be back today!
Month/Cycle: 29 / 23
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: At the moment, nothing.
R/R: I am trying my best to pep myself up. It is not working much today. Yesterday was just an all around awful day, and today won't be much different. Oh an I woke up at 2am to pee and HELLO AF! So I am uber bloated and crampy. When I got home last night from work DH was in a funk. Borderline PTSD episode. He was actually feeling down about the whole TTC thing and did not understand why I was being so "negative" about it saying that AF was going to show up at any minute. (I knew better than to chime in - he doesn't understand what it feels like to feel AF coming and that when my temp nose dives, it means she is coming) He also went on to say he never wants to give up trying, EVER, but at what point do we shift from TTC to just living our lives and start planning for no babies. It was a good convo but one sided because I did not say much. Can I also add, that in 4 days it will mark our 30th month of trying? Can I also add I am an emotional wreck today? I might not be commenting much after this. I apologize in advance if I don't. Might need to rethink life a bit. Could just be my emotions.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! I got up to go to the bathroom during a class for work, tripped and fell over AIR in front of everyone... I was wearing a skirt.
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, plan to HIO ED starting CD 12 until I get CHs.
R/R: I've hit my step goal for the last 3 days!
Between my boss actually pushing me to walk more and you ladies on the FitBit work week challenge, I'm really killing it lately! So...
CS/Q: None today.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you!
This is a tough one. I honestly can't remember a time that I was embarrassed. I tend to make fun of myself on a daily basis. Anything that could be potentially embarrassing turns into a joke. I'm all about that self deprecating humor.
@grabberblue2010; I'm so sorry for cd 1 and for everything you're going through! Take all the time you need.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: pnv and hio even though o day is probably not for another 10ish days
R/R: DS has his allergy test today and I'm not looking forward to seeing him get stuck with a bunch of different needles.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you!
Theres has been a lot! One of the times that sticks out is when I get my period in 7th grade. I was still very irregular and didn't have a clue about my body. Anyways, I started during a class and I wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom and then had to figure out some sly way to clean the desk off so no one would notice. Sweatshirts tied around the waist were still in style so I was good there! Lol
R/R: DH leaves in about 30 mins with DS on their camping weekend, and I feel like I'm gearing up to O in the next couple days. They get home saturday afternoon.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! I can't think of anything good right now. I do get really into my kids baseball games, even though they're just 7 and 9. I used to play softball so I tend to scream and cheer a lot. Most of the other parents just don't care and aren't even paying attention to the game, so I tend to embarrass myself a bit getting so into it. I don't care that much though.
WAYDTGKU: Attempting to track ovulation, temping is not going well, and will start lots of bedroom activity today since AF just left
R/R: I am sucking on my fitbit challenge this week. I REALLY need to get up and start pacing the office before a full day of patients but I just don't feel it.
CS/Q: Not right now
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! Im college I may have been slightly intoxicated and walked outside naked... there was still a full party going on... I may also have not believed my friends until they all came in and couldn't even tell me the whole story from laughing so hard. I had just turned 21 and in the past years I have never been that crazy. (At least I was skinny(er) then lol)
@GrabberBlue2010 I'm sorry you're here. How awful for you. Creepy internet hugs from me, too.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CoQ10, trying to reduce stress
R/R:
CS/Q: The ongoing confusion with my temps continues. I had a really early temp spike CD12 before I would have expected to O, which lasted two days, and now I'm back down. Here are my charts (one with cover line, one without):
I am bad at "waiting and seeing" as you can tell. I did not have much EWCM at all this cycle, nor did I have any ovulation pain, so I feel like I am at a loss.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you!
When I was in junior high, I went to a school concert and told a bunch of friends about how this girl we didn't like did a really stupid thing in class (she was bragging about how she memorized the Ten Commandments then could only name five, then tried to say that it was because she learned in seminary class that there were only five). We all laughed and laughed, so loud that the woman in front of us in the auditorium turned around and looked a bunch of times. The next day the girl we didn't like confronted me and said that woman was her mom and she'd overheard us making fun of her -- and that her parents had grounded her because she couldn't remember all of the commandments. I was so embarrassed. Now that I'm an adult, I also feel terrible for her because what a thing to be grounded for.
@GrabberBlue2010 - I am so sorry to hear about your emotional day. Sending lots of peace your way.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: RRL tea, PNV, for real going to buy the CBAD today and plan on starting them CD9
R/R: I've been trying to be less TTC focused this week... doing less pump and FF stalking and trying to let things ride. Although of course that is easiest because my chart only has 7 days worth of data and there is nothing to overanalyze. I know I'm fooling myself and it will get worse.
CS/Q: nada.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! There is nothing I hate more and/or is more embarrassing than getting called out on an error at work in front of people. This happened a few weeks ago, and it was awful.

WAYDTGKU: All the HIO now. ewcm city! Also, PNV, B6, BBT and tracking cm
R/R: My SIL dropped off her dog to spend the day with mine while we're at work. So I'll be spending most of my day watching them on the camera play and be adorable. That also means that when i get home they'll probably both be too tired to bug me too much. FX that means I get to relax a little after work today!
Also rave about my pup: he was barking at the closet this morning as i was getting ready for my workout and I couldn't figure out why. Well, apparently there was a giant palmetto bug in there (fancy word for flying roach)! So I made DH get up out of bed and kill it. I kill spiders, he kills roaches. But good job doggie for warning us about the bug! I was impressed lol
CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! Oh god, so many. But one that pops up in my head first is I was hanging out at my brother's house that he rented with 2 other friends in college and they were having a party. As usual, i ended up falling asleep on the couch and when i woke up, DH came over and told me that I had farted in my sleep and everyone heard!! I was mortified lol Luckily I knew everyone there and it never got brought up, but still!

livening things up a bit, in Golden Girls fashion. If you’re feeling froggy, hop over!
CS/Q:
GTKY: I’m really bad at gravity so I fall a bunch. But one time, DH and I were at a Widespread
Panic show and I fell onto the row in front of us, much to the dismay of the
people standing there.

CS/Q:
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! Oh man. I have a lot of stories I could tell here. In hindsight, I laugh about them - but at the time they were pretty mortifying.
So this story is much better told in person, but I'll type it out anyways About 6 or 7 years ago, I was a gym rat. I still am, but I was much more of one back then. I was a personal trainer, into taekwondo - I lived at the gym. So one day I was doing HIIT sprints on the treadmill (you sprint all out as fast as possible for 20 - 30 secs, rest for a minute, repeat). I had the treadmill jacked up to like 10mph during my sprints. I was also listening to my ipod and it was balanced on the little treadmill shelf. Well, I got going pretty fast and was swinging my arms and stuff and my ipod accidently fell off the treadmill. My first thought was "Oh crap - I don't want to step on my ipod!" so I kind of hopped one foot over just slightly - but it was enough to mess up my balance going 10mph and I fell.
**Teachable Moment** - Just FYI to everyone - but if you ever fall on a treadmill, just let go. Just let it drag you to the end so you can roll off. My mistake was thinking I could get back up after falling going so fast - so I tried, couldn't do it, and fell again. Tried again. Fell again. Mind you, the gym is pretty busy - and there's a guy on the treadmill next to me. There are people behind me - in front of me. I KNOW I'm making a bunch of noise. NOT ONE PERSON TRIES TO HELP. I must have fallen like 4 times before I finally got up. I was near tears - but I thought to myself "Heather, you are NOT crying at the gym. It is just not happening." So I ran for 10 more minutes then went out to my car and sobbed.
The knees of my yoga pants had ripped during my falls and the top layer of skin on my knees had been taken off. There was blood everywhere - all down my pants - and the edges of my pants had wedged INSIDE the skin of my knees - if that makes any sense. I had to pry them off my knees before I bandaged them.
I had to have serious bandages on my knees and I couldn't bend them for a few days. I had to tell my students what happened and they thought it was the best/funniest story ever. That happened like 7 years ago - and every year, there's a kid who says 'So and so told me you have to tell us the treadmill story..' Oh lord lol. It is pretty funny - but at the time, I seriously thought I could never set foot in the gym again.
@GrabberBlue2010 More creepy internet hugs coming your way. I'm so sorry and am sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

WAYDTGKU: same as before
R/R: DH is in the homestretch of finishing up his last classes for nursing school and I am so beyond done with this whole process. Mid-life career changes are hard. Ugh.
CS/Q: Not really. Had a temp spike this morning so hoping to see something actually happen on my chart over the next week or so, maybe, hopefully.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you!
Oh geez. The worst one was a couple years ago, took DS to a preschool bowling party. I went up to help him when it was his turn since he could not lift the ball. Helped him roll it. As soon as it took off, so did he. He started running down the lane. I went after him and fell flat on my back, hard. In front of everyone. At least DS didn't fall, just laughed. Totally mortifying. And perhaps the worst part was that not one person asked if I was okay!
@GrabberBlue2010 (Also, I charge my Fitbit while I shower. It doesn't usually get fully charged but it is always enough to keep it going.)
@adirat It's possible that your temp could go up again tomorrow and it still show a sustained shift. Waiting to see patterns is hard for sure!

WAYDTGKU: Temping, checking CM, Sex, Vitex, waiting for a dr. appot.
R/R: Day 2 of my new morning routine failed (well, the waking up early part) because I couldn't sleep last night. I still got all the routine-y stuff done just an hour and half later than I want to. I just keep telling myself its a work in progress.
Also, DH went by the store to get milk on his way home yesterday and he bought me flowers!
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! So this is somewhat TTC related: When I was 12 or 13 I went out to lunch with my mom and one of her friends. Her friend had just found out she was pregnant and was telling my mom how she knew the dr. was wrong about her due date and I asked why. She said: "We write down when we do so we know if we are." I had had my period since I was 11, and I thought she was talking about her period, so of course, trying to appear mature I said "Oh, so do we!" They both laughed at me and my mom had to whisper to me in the restaurant that she meant she writes down when she has sex and I'm pretty sure I turned bright red and didn't say anything the rest of the meal.

R/R: Ya'll my temp this morning was 89.06. Am I even alive!? Clearly this was an error so I retook it in the bathroom an hour later, which is when I used the recall feature to see my temp. Clearly worthless.
I just need tomorrow to get here so the weekend can begin.
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: I think the biggest is I broke my leg really badly in college while walking down a hill. Not running. Not skiing. No, there was no ice. I simple slipped in such an odd way that my leg twisted underneath me and broke in several places. At first, I didn't even realize anything was wrong because it wasn't a bad fall - until I couldn't move. My family STILL talks about this, and it was 10 years ago.
@GrabberBlue2010 I'm sorry! That does not sound easy and I feel for you. All the hugs to you today. @Daisy621 Here's to hoping that O holds off until they get back! I wish we could just tell our bodies what to do and when, it would be so much easier. @jatwal128 I love that your dog barked at the bug! I need to train mine to do that. R/R: This part of the cycle is so boring, I just want to get started on TTC again. This AF is also taking away all my energy this time and making me super emotional, so I can't wait for it to go away! The weekend cannot come fast enough and I just realized that it is a long weekend! wooo hooo!
@GrabberBlue2010 I am sorry to hear what you are going through. I always feel like I am highly emotional and even irrational around AF and that things become clearer a few days after. Take some time. It never hurts to talk and reflect on what is important to you. I wish you all the best and we are here if you need us. You certainly are a strong woman! @hezzer78 Your story is absolutely hilarious!! I cannot believe you ran an extra 10 mins after falling!!

I have plenty because I am clutzy to the core but this is a good one. It was freshman year of college and I was all dressed up for one of my first ever summer frat parties. Jean skirts were in and I was wearing a pair of rubber flip flops (don't judge okay?). My bff and I were going to the frat DH was pledging (we all went to HS together but he went up for summer session so by then he was already "cool") The fraternities were housed in these off campus mansions and this house had a HUGE foyer and a HUGE winding staircase in the foyer. The whole entire party was on the first floor in the foyer and the two rooms off to each side. DH showed us around upstairs and we walked back down via the huge staircase leading into the party. Well there was beer right? and drunk sloppy people = wet floors. As we were coming down the steps my stupid rubber flip flops basically hydroplaned and I went FLYING down the last half of the stairs. People definitely saw my underpants. I felt like the party went totally silent and everyone was staring! It was comical. To make matters worse, DH and BFF ran away and pretended not to know me because they were as embarrassed as I was. Nice huh? I haven't let them forget it... don't worry.
@PepperAT I know! He got lots of praise for being a good little guard doggy. Initially I thought he'd either lost his mind or we had a ghost in the closet. I almost would've rather had a ghost than a roach though haha!
For the camera, we have a Canary. It's one of those home security cameras that you can pretty much put where ever you want in the house and it'll record all day. The app let's you open it up on your phone and just stream it as long as you want. I like that i can just check in on him throughout the day. It's pretty awesome!

@saralee797@hartmich I know, I was dumb. I should have just left and gotten myself some medical attention, but my pride wouldn't let me leave. I had to finish my workout yo!
@GrabberBlue2010 I am so sorry. Biggest, creepiest internet hugs to you today. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you. Also, I sleep with my fitbit on and charge it while in the shower. Occasionally, I will charge it during the night if I'm getting really low for some odd reason.
@Daisy621 I'm also a baseball mom who used to play softball. And man, do I cheer! My husband gets a little embarrased, but I don't really care. Haha! I had 3 kids on two different teams this year. We were constantly traveling from team to team. The younger boys on the Rivercats played a game earlier in the evening and then my oldest son on the Lugnuts had a game after that. We were at the Lugnut game and I shouted out "Let's go Rivercats!" Everyone just laughed, including myself. Wrong team. Whoops! HAHAHA!
@adirat I know the "wait and see" answer sucks, but...that's all I've got. It could possibly be O, but if drop more, then maybe it was just a fake out....
@ahrains I'm sorry. I don't mean to slay....well, yes I do. The last two weeks, I have completely sucked, so I had to make sure you guys knew I wasn't a complete couch potato!
@hezzer78 Ah man! I've been keeping my eye on you. Another 7/22 testing buddy back in the WTO. This sucks! Also, I don't mean to laugh at your pain, but your GTKY is priceless. I was reading it while on the train this morning and was LOL-ing and tearing up a bit. I'm sure that was extremely embarrasing at the time and how rude of no one to help you!
@alysapuggles I also don't mean to laugh at your pain, but the gif just made it that much funnier.
@MandyBeeSLP I wish DH would buy me "just because" flowers. I made the huge mistake at the beginning of our relationship of telling him that I don't really like flowers. Its true. I don't. I don't have a green thumb, so they die in like 3 days. BUUUUUUUUUUUT....every once in a while would be nice....
@hartmich I know what you mean about the steps. I work an office job, so if I don't walk on my two breaks and my lunch, plus take a walk after work, there is no way I'm hitting the 10k step goal. Also, my weekend step count is bad. Really bad. Like I think one Sunday I had 1300 steps. Pretty much Netflix all day and just getting up to go to the bathroom...
@Saralee797 Stupid rubber flip flops always make me hydroplane!! Glad you never let DH and BFF forget!

R/R: I got a pretty good temp spike this morning, and I'm reasonably convinced that I O'd yesterday. So I'm discontinuing all the FW stuff and crossing my fingers. We'll probably still FWP a time or two more for good measure, though.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: My first thought was a falling off a treadmill story, but the one @hezzer78 told way way better. But still, it's a falling story. Several years ago, my girlfriend and I attended an NBA game. We weren't exactly sober, but I decided I needed a hot dog, so I went up to concessions. On my way back down, I felt myself start to lose my balance and fall forward. I thought I was going to do this number, but probably without sticking the landing like that:
So instead, I threw myself backward, and basically sat down on the step above me. I found myself sitting next to another spectator, right at his seat level. He asked me if I was OK, and I said I was just embarrassed. Then he said "at least you saved your hot dog." That was when I realized that I was still holding it up above my head. I had done a Hail Mary pose. I really wanted that hot dog...

GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! There are a couple. As a kid I had glasses at 4. So basically the first time a doctor asked me to see the big E and I couldn't. But in elementary school I used to tell teachers they were only for the board, because I was(am) sneaky and I had older siblings so I knew how dorky I looked. Long story short, I ran into a couple of different poles on a few separate occasions during recess... whoops. But the most embarrassing story I actual just told the hubs, two nights ago. I was a freshman in high school. Everyday for lunch I would get ice cream, normally the popsicle kind with the hard chocolate shell with vanilla inside (classically delicious). I sat with mostly freshman but there was a table of seniors near by. Now, I'm a pretty oblivious person by nature (I think the running into poles story demonstrates that). I never notice people checking me out. If someone calls out my name, I assume they are talking to someone else. So like 3 months into the school year, this senior walks over to me and gives me a phone number and says, 'this is my friend's number. He's been watching you eat ice cream like that for months. You should call him and put him out of his misery." I was mortified. To this day when I think about it, I blush. I don't consider myself an overtly sexual person now and at 15, trust me I had no idea that what I was doing could even get that sort of response from someone. I just was eating my ice cream in what I thought was a normal, non-sexual way. But the cherry on top was the guy who had been watching me, had just started dating one of my BFF's at the time. I never told her.
@Aurora1973 I did the EXACT same thing at a football game but with a draft beer in each hand. Landed squarely on my behind, holding up two unspilled beers in a touchdown motion!

Gotta actually try to not think too much about TTC these days and focus on our real life that's actually in front of us. So sorry if I'm not around that much... :/

GTKY: Oh, I don't know. ***TW Family Illness*** My SIL started her chemo and radiation today so please keep her and the family in T&P. She has a rough road ahead, with two girls at home and a devoted husband (they were HS sweethearts...) plus her BIL also had a cancer diagnosis around Easter time, so prayers for her in-laws C+C who have both their Son-in-law and Daughter-in-law in treatment right now. Pretty much sucks all around. R/R: I'm glad I am finally in the double digits for CD so I can get closer to O. I haven't seen any real change in cm so I am waiting for that to happen.
CS/Q: For those who use OPK with lines, do you notice the second line get darker as O approaches. I haven't had a positive one yet but I swear the second line has been getting a little bit darker each day.
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you! I've probably had a lot but off the top of my head I remember being drunk at a college party and announcing to a room full of people I was going outside. I went to storm off or something and turned and walked right into a sliding glass door with everyone watching.
Chiming in SUPER late but...I'm still here!!! And I read everyone's posts and the GTKYs killed me lol!

Rave #2: things have been so great since DH got home and I'm super impressed we've been HIO ED, just hoping it will last til Tuesday when he leaves again! Rant: he had decided not to go camping/to the wedding but now is saying he might decide tomorrow at the last minute that we're still going Not stoked about last minute plans and it's the long weekend so traffic will now be insane and it's stinkin hot and nothing is planned Trying hard to mentally prepare myself and also worrying about the BD aspect since we'll likely be staying at the highly religious ILs since it's so last minute.
I'll be okay...really I will lol I was just sooo enjoying this time with him!! Grrr the emojis are getting in the way again so I'm cutting this short. Hope to be back tomorrow!!! love & light to all

CS/Q: Nope.

Lol

Also, DH went by the store to get milk on his way home yesterday and he bought me flowers!
CS/Q: Nope.

So this is somewhat TTC related:
When I was 12 or 13 I went out to lunch with my mom and one of her friends.

GTKY: I think the biggest is I broke my leg really badly in college while walking down a hill. Not running. Not skiing. No, there was no ice.
For the camera, we have a Canary. It's one of those home security cameras that you can pretty much put where ever you want in the house and it'll record all day. The app let's you open it up on your phone and just stream it as long as you want. I like that i can just check in on him throughout the day. It's pretty awesome!

Month/Cycle: (7/5) 1/1 TTCAL
CD: 24
WAYDTGKU: Crossing my fingers today was O and letting my body do its job
R/R: I turned an OPK last night. My EWCM dried up today and my CP is down low again. I think I Od today, possibly even overnight. Only time will tell but I'm really hoping this was it.
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: Tell us about a time something embarrassing happened to you!
I checked my CM and CP at work today and my coworker came into the bathroom and started to talk to me while I was digging around. Super weird for me but of course she didn't know.
Married: November 2015
TTC#1: January 2016

I feel the same way sometimes and we're not near as far along as you. I don't blame you. Is there a way that you can "feel" more normal about it, not like it's taking so much effort to TRY just, like it's a part of your routine? That's how I'm feeling anyway this cycle, like hopefully it can be just a routine... and not yet too actually disheartening... <3
@PepperAT Hay gurl! WTF are we both doing back in WTO? Ammiright????

Cycle: 10 or 11
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: All the things, plus antibiotics now and third cycle of Progesterone 3-12DPO.
RR: Thought I should check in just because. DH had a fit this morning seeing me online/"playing on my phone," so I can't really just hang out on TTGP like I used to... Gotta actually try to not think too much about TTC these days and focus on our real life that's actually in front of us. So sorry if I'm not around that much... :/
Questions: nope
GTKY: Oh, I don't know. ***TW Family Illness*** My SIL started her chemo and radiation today so please keep her and the family in T&P. She has a rough road ahead, with two girls at home and a devoted husband (they were HS sweethearts...) plus her BIL also had a cancer diagnosis around Easter time, so prayers for her in-laws C+C who have both their Son-in-law and Daughter-in-law in treatment right now. Pretty much sucks all around. Sorry if it's all a bit of a downer right now...

Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: BBT, tracking CM/CP, PNV, DHA, Maca, RRLT, green tea, couple other tonics, might try my first OPK tomorrow!, HIO now that DH is home!
R/R: Firstly, this is 1st month tracking CP daily and I actually think I felt a difference in height today, which is kind of cool!
Rave #2: things have been so great since DH got home and I'm super impressed we've been HIO ED, just hoping it will last til Tuesday when he leaves again!
Rant: he had decided not to go camping/to the wedding but now is saying he might decide tomorrow at the last minute that we're still going
Not stoked about last minute plans and it's the long weekend so traffic will now be insane and it's stinkin hot and nothing is planned Trying hard to mentally prepare myself and also worrying about the BD aspect since we'll likely be staying at the highly religious ILs since it's so last minute.
I'll be okay...really I will lol I was just sooo enjoying this time with him!!
Grrr the emojis are getting in the way again so I'm cutting this short. Hope to be back tomorrow!!!
love & light to all
